Description of bumGenius One-Size Cloth Diaper WhiteCloth diapering has never been so easy! BumGenius! one-size cloth diapers offer an industry first, stretch- to-fit tabs (patent pending). The redesigned tabs provide a comfortable fit and trim look. This simple design makes cloth diapering as easy as using disposables. BumGenius! One-size cloth diapers are perfect for care providers who might be resistant to cloth diapering (including daycares and dads)! Less Clutter BumGenius! One-Size Cloth Diapers easily fit babies from 7 pounds up to 35 pounds. One diaper for multiple children simplifies laundry and the diaper drawer. No more sorting by size or having to carry multiple diapers when going out. Three snap-downs on the front of the diaper (patent pending) adjust the rise as your baby grows. For newborns, fold down the insert stopper for an extra-small rise. Highly absorbent The BumGenius one-size cloth diaper is one-size off the shelf. In addition to the regular insert, we are including a newborn insert/booster with all version 3.0 diapers. The newborn insert is designed to reduce bulk for small babies. When the baby outgrows the newborn insert, it works great as an overnight booster or extra absorbency for a heavy wetter. Only the Best for Your Baby The soft, waterproof outer fabric keeps the diaper just as trim on a newborn setting as it is on a toddler. Soft, suede inner fabric wicks moisture away from your baby's skin. Super stretchy, ultra gentle leg and back elastic with rolled out casings keep the Yuk in and to help keep red marks away. Plus, our unique covered (patent pending) pocket opening keeps wetness completely off of your baby. After the diaper has been used, you can even avoid messes in your wet bag by rolling the diaper up and fastening the tabs before storage!
Baby Products Reviews of bumGenius One-Size Cloth Diaper WhiteCustomer Review: Great for first timer Summary: 5 Stars
I never thought about using cloth diapers until very recently. My daughter is 22 months old and will be out of diapers soon (hopefully). I am now expecting baby boy. My initial thought of cloth diapering was that it would be gross, a lot of work, and not as effective. I found out about BG diapers though, & decided to give cd'ing a try for environmental reasons. Financially it's great too. These diapers are awesome. I've been using them for a few weeks now. Maybe a month. I've only had a few leaks which I had with disposables occasionally as well. The diapers are easy to care for. I remove the liners & put the diapers & liners in a plastic container with tight fitting lid throughout the day & wash them all at night once my daughter goes to bed. It's simple laundry . . . no sorting, etc. So it has not been a hassle for me. I use biodegradable diaper liners that catch the poop, so I don't have a big mess to clean out of the diapers. My daughter has a healthy bottom- no rash or redness, and I am very surprised at how easy it is. These diapers are great quality. They are thick & absorbant, well made, and very easy to use. They're incredibly soft and it's so neat how they can go from tiny to big. My daughter is 34 in tall and weighs 26 lb. They fit her very well, and she seems comfortable in them. It's worth the extra laundry to me to keep 2,500 diapers out of the landfill a year. I very very highly recommend these diapers. At $18 a piece, if you buy 12, that's $216. If you were to buy a $15-$20 pack of disposable diapers twice a month, that's $360-$480 a year on diapers. So cloth diapering does save money even though at first it seems like a lot to spend. Also, you are not supposed to use ointment or powder with the diapers (it could make them less absorbant), but if you need to use these products, you can just use liners so that the ointment or powder does not get on the actual diaper. The liners I bought can be found at http://www.cottonbabies.com/product_info.php?cPath=37&products_id=702
