Customer Review: Sturdy and Convenient, but Costly for Canadians

My husband and I had our hearts set on this chair for our son because of its convenience of use both in and out of the house. Buyers be warned to thoroughly measure the thickness of your table tops to assure a proper fit. We discovered that the edging on our table made it impossible to hook the chair on without separating the table, sliding the chair along until it was past the leaf, then combining the table halves once more. That drawback aside, this chair has served us well at home, at restaurants, and at the homes of relatives. This chair is easy to assemble, easy to wash (just remove the material and pop it in the washing machine), and is excellent for conserving space. Unfortunately, there are no merchants willing to ship this chair directly to Canada, and this shopper was required to use Borderlinx at exorbitant shipping costs, bringing the total cost of the chair to over $70. While we love the chair, we were shocked at the shipping costs.
