Customer Review: G-Luxe is bueno!

I ordered the Uppa Baby G-Luxe to take with us on a family trip. I'm a big fan of the Uppa Baby line of products (we have a Vista): well made, thoughtful design, good customer service, and priced well below their upper crust competitors. Although we did consider some of the other more robust umbrella strollers on the market we opted for the G-Luxe primarily due to our experience with the Vista and based on peer reviews. We also really appreciated the fact that the seat reclined and our 11 month old son enjoys that detail as well.
My only issues with the G-Luxe are the price and the open/close system. Umbrella strollers for the most part are pretty inexpensive but the G-Luxe costs nearly as much as some full size, no-frills strollers. It does have the reclining seat, a canopy, and a basket underneath but regardless, it's still a little spendy.
As far as the open/close system goes, closing the stroller is a breeze. Pushing down on the foot peg "thingy" was a little bit of a struggle for my little wife. She can do it but it takes a couple attempts for her to get the stroller set-up.
All-in-all a great stroller that your family will enjoy. I recommend getting the carrying bag for trips as it kept the many different catch points secured while we travelled with the stroller.
