I love this item. When I first ordered it I changed my mind and wanted to cancel the order but it was too late. I'm happy I didn't. It does exactly what it says - it shields the baby from the sun and bugs. I like that it is compact and had a pull down part for extra sun protection or privacy - I use it to keep prying eyes out of the baby's face. It is light weight and good value. I wish it came with a rain cover and also that the sides fit a little better on my graco sung ride so no space would be left on the side for a stray bug to enter. I would buy t again it given the choice. It looks really cool!Customer Review: Everyone should have one!

We used this every day, for walks and for car rides. It fits perfectly over the Graco snugride 22. It's a little awkward to get the baby out while in the snap n go without taking the whole shade off, but that wasn't really a big deal. We had a lot of questions about it and lots of comments about what a good idea it was. For $20 it's a very worthwhile investment. So nice not to have to stress about whether the sun is in the baby's eyes. Even works as a lightweight rain cover in drizzle.Customer Review: Awesome

This is GREAT !!!! I purchased this after always fumbling with the plastic rain covers that you must take off the baby in order to put them in/out of the car - in the meantime - the baby gets soaked !!!!! This UppaBaby NOT ONLY protects the baby from rain, wind, sun and bugs - but from people wanting to come and TOUCH the baby - AND you DO NOT have to take it off while transporting to and from the car.

I have been looking for a way to shield the sun from the rear window of my car for months now...I found a solution and this is it! Not only does it block the sun from the rear window for my little one in her car seat it also blocks it from the side as well. Since I live in Alaska it is so difficult to get any and all suction cups to stay on a window due to the cold. This shade is just the ticket! I love it and highly recommend it!Customer Review: buy the mica one instead

I bought this shade for a trip to Hawaii and it worked great. However, after 2 weeks one of the plastic tubes broke and I was unable to fold it. Uppa Baby was very responsive and sent me a new one. The replacement they sent was the mica (silver color). On the web they look the same, but the mica is actually much nicer. Easier to fold and sturdier. So if you need a cover, I recommend the Uppa Baby but get the mica one.
