When I first considered purchasing this product, I was very skeptical! I have a 9 month old baby girl and traveling with her is a nightmare...her diaper bag, a carry on piece of luggage, her car seat and of course, her! It was all so much to handle! So, after reading the reviews, I decided to take the chance and spend the $15. I got the product and was unimpressed with the look of it, it's a small nylon "t" strap with D rings on each end. Like many reviews noted, it isn't really worth $15 however it's a better deal than a $200 travel car seat and seemed more effective. Well, I had the chance to use it and what can I say...it was a lifesaver! I have a safety 1st car seat and a nice piece of luggage (can't remember the name). It was a tight fit on the luggage which is a good thing because it can't slide around. I put her diaper bag around the handle of the luggage and literally carried NOTHING! It does take some practice to hook and unhook it from the luggage however after some practice runs it worked just fine. We received so many comments from people around the airport, it was kinda fun! My daughter didn't seem to mind being in it, she didn't seem to care one way or another. I would purchase this again and again!Customer Review: Great way to move car seat and baby at the airport!

We were going to travel across the country and I'm a big believer in having the baby have a separate seat. We tried lugging a big britax seat on a short airplane ride by hand and it was overwhelmingly annoying. All the baby gear is cumbersome (stroller, carry ons, car seat etc). This little tiny strap enabled us to lug a Sunshine Radian 65 (which is narrow enough to roll down the aisle of the 767 on our rollerboard carryon luggage) with the baby in it (1 yr old).
It definitely would be fiddly for only one parent if they were juggling child, baggage, car seat, stroller etc. But it really worked well for us. Practice putting it on and off. It is definitely one of the best solutions for taking a convertible car seat on the plane if you need to bring one on your trip. Once our baby is older, we would consider using the CARES harness. But the car seat enabled our baby to sleep in familiar environs.
One thing to consider is if you end up taking the baby in the car seat, they may want you to check your stroller in rather than gate check (if you use a stroller bag to protect your stroller). We had no issues in SFO, but we ran into resistance at JFK and ended up checking the stroller in at JFK.

After researching different options in which to travel with a car seat, I came across anything and everything ranging from $80 to $160, most of them being an entire car seat with wheels rather than simply an attachment to use with an existing car seat. After finding this item and reading all of the positive reviews, we tried it out; can't beat the price! Worked like a charm on our Britax Blvd. with our two year old daughter. I would suggest practicing the attachment at home and with the child before using it at the airport to alleviate any stress in figuring it out and it does need to be taken apart to go through security. We didn't try using the suitcase and the seat attached when we boarded the plane after reading some other reviews that said it didn't fit up the airplane aisle. Our daughter is on the tall end, so she did have to hold her legs up when we were pulling her and you do have to be careful with turning, doorways, and/or aisles remembering that there are appendages hanging off of your suitcase (i.e. child's feet). She loved it, and we loved it as we were able to transport her car seat, use it on the plane, and not have to deal with a stroller in the airport! This product is so simple, you may wonder what you paid for when you receive it. Then, when you use it, you will realize that you have paid for:
1) Being able to rush from one gate to another without worrying about your kid's slow, meandering walking.
2) Not having to bring a stroller to the airport.
3) Not having to lug a car seat around, dropping it on your foot as you try to balance it on top of your suitcase.
4) The adoring gaze of other travelers as they contemplate how ingenious you are and how great you are at keeping your kid under control.
Out of all of the stuff that I bought to help care for my children, this is my favorite device. We misplaced the first one we bought, but for our most recent trip we bought two more. They worked equally well for both our 2-year-old and our 4-year-old (about 40lbs). And, when the kids wanted to walk, we threw our extra bags in the car seat for a rolling luggage carrier.
You can push the seat or pull the seat. For long dashes through the airport, the 40lb kid does get kind of heavy, so it is good to have the option to push or pull.
This item should go on every traveling parent's baby registry.

I bought this because we had a vacation planned and my husband had to go on a business trip last minute. He wasn't sure if he'd be back from a business trip in time to travel with us and it was likely I was going to take my 2yr old on a plane alone. I wasn't sure how I was going to get her, the car seat, plus any carry-on through the airport by myself (let alone a stroller). I bought this hoping that all the good reviews were accurate.
My husband was home in time and so I can't say how using it as 1 parent would work but using it with both of us was fantastic! My daughter thought it was so neat that she actually liked to ride in it (she likes to walk vs ride most of the time) Not only did it keep our toddler from running all over the airport it also made carting her car seat around ridiculously easy. I think I'd have less fear about traveling with her alone knowing how well the product worked.
The suitcase we used to attach it to had all her clothes and toys for the trip in it so no need for a diaper bag and when she spilled her juice a change of clothes was just in the overhead compartment.
I cannot recommend this product enough !
