This is the cheapest and best product ever! i'm 5'4, 100 pounds with skinny arms. i was traveling from VA to CA with my 16 month old alone. i had one stop in Atlanta, when i got there my daughter was sleeping in her car seat, if i didnt have this strap i have no idea how i would have been able to lug the carry on, the car seat and my daughter to the other side of the airport to catch my flight! It was a total life saver, espes since as the Britex marathon car seat is very heavy. it had no problem at all holding up the 50 pounds of baby and car seat. and my daughter slept wonderfully even being lugged through a busy airport, on a train, and up escalators!
putting it through the x-ray machine was a piece of cake, and it was easy to hook everything back together quickly.
best 15 bucks you will ever spend!
the only problem i had was with the car seat on the plane. my car seat was too wide to fit through the walkway. but the flight attendants were really helpful.
if traveling, you should really get it. it's a lifesavor.

This strap was a life saver on our first flight with my one year old daughter. Traveling toddler held the car seat perfectly to the carry on. My daughter weights 20 pounds and the carryon had no trouble carrying that weight. There were only 2 draw backs to the strap, One I had was I couldn't tighten the latch strap on our car seat enough where the car seat wouldn't slide down a little when tilting the carry on to wheel it. My Husband was the one that could really tighten it down as far as it would go. I think that is more of a car seat style then the travel toddler strap. The only other drawback was once the car seat is strapped on to the carryon you can't get in to it, with out undoing the car seat. An obvious assumption when looking at the picture but some thing that slipped my mind until my daughter was in it and ready to roll and my flight paperwork was in the carryon. I would recommend this to any of my friends that are flying with a car seat. The convenience of less gear and a happy toddler rolling through the air port far out weight the 2 drawbacks that I had.Customer Review: traveling with a toddler using the traveling toddler car seat accessory

the strap is shaped like an upside down T, so the instructions say to attach the latch strap buckles from the carseat at the 3 ends of the traveling toddler strap (2 ends attach around the sides of the luggage and the middle strap goes over the top of it). but the car seat i had (and the various ones my sisters' let me try) only have 1 strap with 2 buckles on the ends. so i didn't have the top strap to keep it securely balanced, which sucked when i first put it together because my son was dead asleep and his head was so far tilted to the side that he tipped the whole thing over. thankfully, he wasn't hurt (only upset because he woke up) but it shows the flaw in the design. i figured out how to get the perfect balance to where he didn't weeble and wobble but it still felt a little unstable without the top strap. but it was a hell of a lot easier than trying to carry a carseat, luggage, bookbag, and hyper 3 yr old by myself through numerous airports. i'll definitely keep using it, but i'm looking into buying another latch strap/buckle for the car seat to make it better.Customer Review: Wish I had known about this a year ago!

This is a product that just makes a lot of simple sense. While on the expensive side for a piece of nylon webbing with rings, I am very glad I paid under $20 for this gadget which does the trick, rather than investing in a special carseat with retractable wheels just for travel, or even the product that's like a dolly for carseats. I did look seriously into those other options, and what I like about the Traveling Toddler is that you don't have an extra item to push around in addition to your luggage, and when you're not using it it fits into your pocket. As far as versatility, I was able to attach my Britax Boulevard carseat to my 26" (non-carry-on) suitcase. (The straps were at their max.) Even though I checked both, it was still a huge help getting from one end of the terminal to the other, and my 17-month old son was happy sitting in it, eating his lunch, and cruising around in it while we waited for our ride on the other side. Since I travel alone with my son quite frequently, I am dearly grateful that the days of lugging that carseat around on my back are over.Customer Review: Makes traveling with a baby a joy!

We recently went on vacation with our 11 mnth old baby. I purchased the Traveling Toddler in preparation for the trip. I did a test run of it with my roll-aboard suitcase ( to adjust for fit ) with and without the baby installed in the carseat. The carseat that we used was a Cosco Senera. I highly recommend a dry run at home before you get to the airport.
This was the one item I purchased for the trip that made traveling with the Baby Stress Free!!! It worked wonderfully. We were able to check the stroller when we checked the luggage. And we just wheeled the baby from gate to gate using the Traveling Toddler attached to the Roll-aboard suitcase (The roll-aboard suitcase I use is 21" tall). And the Baby really enjoyed the ride. A very simply design that Really Works. I Highly Recommend IT!
I feel that the Traveling Toddler was worth every penny! It is the most reasonably priced travel accessory available that I have found and it works Great Too!!! I will be Recommending this to all of my Friends with babies for Air Travel.
