My daughter hated tummy time. Hated it. With a passion. Did I mention she hated it? She would simply face plant, then lick the blanket until she decided to scream or fall asleep. This pillow is the only solution we found -- and it's a great one! Within a few days she was willing to flop over it like a beached whale and let her giant head bob like a buoy for up to 90 seconds. A week later were were up to several minutes with an occasional smile! It's been smooth sailing since then. We originally tried using our Boppy to prop her up, but it's too tall/thick. This smaller version is the perfect fit for her little body. I still haven't used the mat, but I love all the bright colors and crinkly stuff. The mirror is hit or miss for now -- sometimes she likes the baby in the reflection, sometimes she doesn't -- but I'm sure it will eventually be a great motivator.
