When we unpacked this mobile, I was so excited about how bright and fun the colours were, and that it played classical music. Our baby loves it and will lay looking and listening for the full 15 minutes(enough time for me to have a shower). Before he was even big enough to follow the mobile with his eyes, he would turn his head and listen.
I am giving this mobile a four star rating
A)I do agree with some of the other reviews that this mobile is too loud even on the quiet setting the thing blasts through the house(baby doesn't mind, but the grown-ups begin to hate it after a while).
B) I have found that it doesn't hold on to the spindles of his crib very well and if I bump it has a tendency to fall over no matter how tight I screw the thing in.

We bought this seven months ago. The mobile no longer turns and i wrote to the manufacturer for help. we were completely ignored. for two hundred dollars... you would think they would make good on their product. i bought tiny love products for my now eight year old (back when he was a baby) and had good experiences, so i thought it was a safe bet although it was expensive. But after some research, i find that apparently the quality of not just this product, but other Tiny Love products has gone way down-hill in the last few years. i guess this is why the manufacturer/seller of this product did not respond or try to help in any way. sad... i really thought it would be a great mobile. Highly suggest you pick another mobile and brand for that matter.Customer Review: My son loves this!

We received this mobile as a gift and I have been very pleased with it. My son is now 4 months old and starts to smile whenever we put him under it -- even before we can turn it on. We love how this not only turns but turns at an angle, so that the animals rise and fall and the rings slide back and forth. He likes to reach his hands out to try to touch the animals on the low part of their rotation. The music isn't bad, and at least it is not the shrill nursery rhymes music that so many toys play. My only wish is that the timer were a bit longer. My son is entertained the whole time, but loses interest if I have to come back into the room to restart it. A remote control would have been nice. We've had this attached to our son's crib since birth. He loves the music, but it is a bit loud (I attached foam stickers to the speaker to muffle it to a good level). We apparently had it attached slightly wrong to begin with (slightly angled, not quite vertical) so the mobile didn't move at all (no grinding or indication that it wanted to move, just a stationary mobile), then I accidently knocked it and straightened it (3 months later) and the mobile actually moves to my son's delight! He can listen to the music and watch the mobile for a few pushes of the button (now to teach him where the button to push is..). The moving beads are somewhat loud as well, but they don't seem to bother the little guy and he loves to watch the moving parts.Customer Review: Actual item is not as described!!!

WARNING!!! The item this company will ship you is not the item obviously described. It DOES NOT have the remote control as stated in the description, twice. They are overcharging you for the model to levels below that model. Not the Symphony In Motion Deluxe mobile with remote(w/ the blue music box), or the standard Symphony In Motion mobile(w/ the green music box), but the old version with the white music box. Conveniently the photo was not posted when I purchased this item and I trusted the description, which is innacurate. Hopefully this is some kind of mistake and the seller isn't trying to scam new/expecting parents. You can find the deluxe model for a comparable price, or the newer version of this basic model much cheaper elsewhere.
