Do not buy here! I did not receive even a confirmation by the time the order was supposed to arrive. I also got an e-mail from Amazon notifying me that they had not received confirmation from the company.
I tried communicating with Babyride-leaving 2 phone messages asking them to return my call-you cannot talk to a "real" person, and leaving 2 e-mails asking about my order. I got no reply. Finally after ordering elsewhere and notifying Babyride that I wanted to cancel the order, I got an e-mail from them saying that my order had not shipped and would not arrive by Christmas (as promised). Once again, I told them to cancel the order since I ordered elsewhere. By the way, the item was labeled "in stock" when I ordered.
The one I ordered elsewhere has been shipped and will be here by Christmas. Also, it was cheaper and had free shipping!

We received the Symphony in Motion mobile for a shower gift and I was really excited because it looked like a great entertaining toy for our baby. I was a little disappointed to discover how loud it was and how low it hung in the crib, but once my son was born and I saw haw well it held his attention I was willing to put up with that. Then, just when we were beginning to realize how much he loved it because he was starting to coo and babble (at 6 weeks old) the motor quit. The music would still play, but no motion at all. I returned it for a new one, only to find that one broken in the box. I then checked out some online reviews and learned that it's a very common problem for the motor to quit, so I decided to buy a different brand instead. I gave this 3 stars because my son liked it so much, but the quality just wasn't there.Customer Review: good if it works

Bottom line: I returned mine already.
- My son like it a lot. He likes to watch it and listen to the music, but too bad it stops moving in less than 3 months.
As mentioned in other reviews:
- The music is too loud. I have to cover the speaker with tape.
- The little moving parts make loud noise, but my son seems ok with it.
- It tends to flip to the side. The base has to be perfectly level to make it stay in position.
- Motion and sound turn on/off together, but it is not a big deal for me.
- The reason mine stops moving is because of the way its pole connects to the base. The connection get loose overtime and cannot be fixed.
- Also, the remote control is almost useless.
You have to first press a button on the base to switch it to remote mode anyway.

This really is the ULTIMATE baby mobile! It is big and eye catching, it plays classical music from three choices. My baby absolutely loves this mobile. He smiled at it instantly when he first saw it. I play it for him when he first wakes up and right before he goes to bed. It is battery operated, so there is no annoyingly loud wind up. It lasts 15 minutes, where as the others last maybe a minute. This is awesome, because you can entertain your baby while you get some things done! This mobile gets my baby's attention from the get go, and holds him captivated for the entire 15 minutes! Another plus, the arm of the mobile moves from side to side, so you can sweep it out of the way when it is time to sleep. Don't waste your money on a mobile that matches your bedding set, get this one, and you'll be glad that you did!!!Customer Review: LOVE IT!

We've been using this mobile for over 2 months and we LOVE IT. My son is now 5 months old and is just able to reach the animals, can't quite grab them yet though. He never tires of watching the mobile. I even enjoy watching it because each animal is counter-balanced with a stuffed ball which makes the movement a little less predictable.
I have 2 complaints: The on/off button is very big and sensitive. A few times we have woken up in the night to the sound of the mobile - my son must have kicked it on in his sleep. I guess that can be remedied with better placement in the crib. Also, it is so LOUD. I wish I could turn the volume down even lower than low.
We have had to replace the batteries once, but otherwise it's been great. I definitely would recommend this mobile.
