My husband and I purchased the stainless steel Pura Kiki bottles for our baby girl and its design allows for a few different brands of nipples to fit. At first we bought Dr. Brown's wide neck nipples but every time we would aim the nipple toward her mouth, a jet of milk would come shooting out of the nipple and it would get all over her face. So far we have only fed her expressed breast milk so I don't know how Dr. Brown's nipples would perform with formula. We also tried Born Free nipples and the same thing happened. Only with the Thinkbaby cross cut nipples was our daughter able to eat without getting squirted in the face. She also chokes and sputters less often with the Thinkbaby cross cut nipples.
Again, I don't know how the other brands of nipples would work if they were paired with different bottles, but for me it's the only brand I'll buy so long as I'm using the stainless steel Pura Kiki bottles.
