Customer Review: a lighter alternative water cup

I was glad to find this straw cup as an alternative to the heavier SS ones. My sister's kids have SS ones, and all of the lids are cracked from when the cup was dropped... I think the lighter material of construction helps prevent this, at least a little bit, since it doesn't hit the ground with quite such a thud. I also like the fact that it's a straw, and a lid that closes/seals and then flips open... but it DOESN'T flip the straw when it opens (which always seems to splatter). The seal is pretty good as long as the straw is in right -- we had some leakage issues at first from the straw getting twisted and off-seat from the lid, but that stopped happening once we figured out we needed to take the straw out of the cap when we wash it and then re-assemble. A little more of a pain, but cleaner and more importantly, generally leak-free (as long as we get the cap screwed on all the way). The little yellow collar comes off easily -- not sure what it's there for... maybe to avoid pinch points at the twist-on interface?
Later update: I have subsequently also gotten the SS one to keep milk cold, and it seems to be durable as well (unlike the ones my sister had).
