Customer Review: No More Back Pain !!

I just had my third child, and until now have not found a baby carrier I can use. The traditional kind ('Snugli' style) were murder on my back. The higher-priced raved-about sling carriers (like the 'OvertheShoulderBabyHolder') never felt secure, hurt my shoulder, and by the time I got my daughter in it, she was just as miserable! I have wasted a lot of money on carriers that I never could use, so I was very skeptical when I purchased this one. I used this the first time because my baby wants to be held at the most inconvenient times, and it worked! She was comfortable, I was comfortable, and able to go about my business. Today I used it going out to the store - it was much easier to take her out of the carseat into the wrap and then back into the carseat than to carry the carseat around. It does not hurt my back or shoulders one bit and is incredibly secure and supportive of the baby (enough to give me the use of both arms). Also comfortable enough to keep on all day and use as needed! This is such a good product it's shocking!! I am extremely happy with it, and so is Emma :)Customer Review: Wonderful Carrier!!

This was a great purchase. We have the Snugli for our 2.5 month old daughter but she wasn't able to see out of it (not yet long enough) and her cheek was at just the right hight to constantly get scraped by the straps. Since she has been able to support her head we have been using this soft wrap in the tummy-to-tummy position. She can see everything out of it and often turns her head from side to side to look around or looks up at me. She loves it and quiets down immediately when in that position. When my arms are tired, I feel she is even more secure in this carrier than when I'm holding her! I take her for walks in this almost every day and have never had a peep out of her when in it until she's ready to come out of it b/c she wants to eat, sleep or be changed. The only reason I give it 4 stars and not 5 is because it's not that easy to get the baby in the sleeping/nursing/cradle position. The times I have attempted this have not been fun for her (or me). But I'm getting such a great use out of it in the tummy-to-tummy position that it is definitely worth it!

I finally broke down and bought myself the wrap about a month ago because my best friend in New Jersey would not stop raving about it. I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER WITH THIS CARRIER.
First of all, I injured my neck a while ago and ever since I've had my daughter, I've lived with nearly constant pain in my neck and back from carrying her. She's a fairly large baby and I went through three different carriers, including one my pediatrician swore by but still had to take aspirin almost every day to manage the pain. With this carrier, I carry her around pain free. (You just pull the cloth wider over your back or shoulders to redistribute the weight if you start getting uncomfortable.) Also, my daughter seems much happier in this carrier.
Anyway, I just wanted to let people know because it took me a while to finally get it and I shouldn't have waited so long. I had to watch the video a couple of times to figure out putting it on but it's actually really easy, like tying a shoelace. You just have to do it a few times. TOTALLY GREAT PRODUCT.

I hate my Ultimate Baby Wrap. Sure, it's very comfortable to wear, but I have trouble keeping my baby in it securely. If I do anything more than walk around at a leisurely pace, I have to hang onto him with one hand to keep him from falling out. And I never did figure out the sling carry when he was younger.
I have a very active lifestyle and often need to strap my baby onto me just to be able to get the things done that I have to do, like feed my horses. These things are next to impossible in this carrier. I have a Kozy carrier that I totally love and would recommend to anybody. I can do anything I want, even bend over, without fear of my baby falling out. It's just as comfortable as the UBW, just as flexible in the variety of carries you can accomplish, it's quicker to put on, and cooler to wear. I've been using the Kozy succesfully since my baby was a week old.
I purchased the UBW to try after reading all the great reviews on here. I expected great things, but have been very disappointed by the reality.

I am a 1st time mom and have been looking for a good carrier for my son. My husband wanted to get a baby bjorn, but i just thought they were WAY too expensive. I searched and read all the reviews on the ultimate baby wrap so i bought it. ITS ALL TRUE!!! well, the good stuff anyways. I LOVE THIS CARRIER and so does my son! It is comfortable and feels very secure! I can actually have him in it and have both hands full without feeling like he will fall.
whenever he is fussy (for no identifiable reason), i just put on the wrap and put him in and he calms right down and usually falls asleep.
It is a real lifesaver in the grocery store. he hates the car seat so i would not make it through grocery trips if i did not have the wrap. i just put it on before i leave home.
one thing i have noticed is i have to be careful what he is wearing when he is in it. Isaiah is very warm natured and so i just be sure he is not dressed really heavy if it is warm where we are and all is fine.
