Baby Products Reviews of The Shrunks Tuckaire Toddler Inflatable Travel BedCustomer Review: Awesome portable toddler bed Summary: 5 Stars
We purchased this bed for our 3-year-old son who is still sleeping in his crib at home. Since he no longer fits into a pack-n-play, we needed another alternative for him that would feel safe and secure when traveling. We used this bed over Easter weekend at Nana and Papa's house, and he loved it! I love that the bed has raised sides to help prevent rolling off the mattress. It was comfortable, portable and secure. I also loved that it came with a inflator - made blowing it up really easy. A great option for anyone who needs an alternative to a bed for their toddler. We'll be able to use it for years to come since we have a 1-year-old too.
Customer Review: Great travel bed! Summary: 5 Stars
We bought two of these beds for our twin boys (2 1/2 years). Although we have only used them once at Grandma/Grandpa's house, they worked great. Easy to blow up, easy to put sheets on, and the boys loved them. One boy threw up in the middle of the night and we had only packed one toddler sheet with us, so we used a twin bed sheet and were able to tuck it in and around the bed just fine and our son slept quite well. Also easy to deflate and very quick. The sides kept both boys from rolling off, too. We used a pad under the sheets until the one son threw up and it was fine without a pad.

We originally bought this for travel only. However, last spring we had to leave our home for over a month, and we took this with us as regular bed for her. Though she was not yet 2, she was comfortable in it, and the sides of the bed helped keep her on the bed. It was easy to set up and deflate, and packs pretty small. I particularly liked that it used crib sheets, so we were able to use her normal sheets. Kids like familiarity and routine! We've also traveled by car and air with this bed, and it's a great bed to have whether at a hotel or at someone's house.
Customer Review: Still needs airing due to VOC's Summary: 3 Stars
Glad to know that this air mattress is phthalate free...but it still wreaks! Has a heavy plastic/PVC smell that reflects off-gassing of some sort of chemical. Would recommend inflating and airing out the mattress for several days before use. Also wish the air pump was incorporated into the mattress like Aerobeds. You have to hold the pump up to the opening and make sure it's sealed to pump up the mattress--although it's quick. Still, it would have been more convenient and space saving had the pump already been part of the mattress.
Customer Review: Awesome Travel Bed Summary: 5 Stars
My son is almost 3, and has been using this for several months. It's a bit pricey, but after reading reviews on other options, this seemed like a good bet for portability and comfort. We've been extremely pleased. It's easy to carry on trips, inflates quickly and we love that his crib sheets fit so well and can tuck in. The side rails are small, but we don't have problems with him rolling out. Most importantly, my son sleeps in it well when we're traveling. That makes it a good purchase!
