Customer Review: Great highchair! Excellent price!

This high chair is awsome! Dh, dd and I are going to Disneyland for 4 days/3 nights this June. From past experience we have seen that there is a lack of highchairs in the restaurants in and around Disneyland. Instead of looking high and low for one we will just bring this portable highchair with us! I have used it a few times at my house and at other relatives houses. What's nice is we no longer have to worry about transporting a full size highchair to a relatives house when there is a special occassion dinner.Here is why I give this highchair 5 stars:
1. Its a breeze to put together
2. The whole unit, including the straps, is dishwasher safe
3. It folds up compactly and you can either carry it or use one of the straps to carry it
4. Its light weight!!!! I have back problems and can only lift 5lbs with my right arm. Lightness is a must for me! All the other portable highchairs were heavy.
5. I love the swinging tray. You won't loose it!
6. The straps are easy to tighten
7.My dd is more secure in this high chair than in her regular 5pt harness highchair! This one is 3pt

9. It fits very securly onto adult sized chairs. When I strap it on it doesn't move an inch! And I don't have a lot of strenght since the accident.

12. We haven't had a problem with food being stuck down into the hole. Anyways the hihgchair should, for sanitary reasons, be washed down everyday. Then you won't have 2 day old peas and other germs hanging around.
When we went shopping at the local BRU store we asked the sales associate to take each one out of its box so we could see what it was like. The FP portable highchair is much heavier. The Evenflow model has padding BUT its not FOLDABLE! We noticed that all the portable, foldup models do not have padding. And all the models with padding DO NOT FOLD UP. The padding though on those few models was flimbsy and cheap! And you can't stick the item in the dishwasher...you have to manually wash it down or the padding will melt from the heat.
All in all this is a great portable, foldup high chair for a really great price. I have already recommended this to fellow mommies I know.
*Please note that it is not safe to get a reclinning portable highchair. You are not suposed to feed a baby while reclined. It can cause the baby to choke on his/her food. This highchairs are designed to be used by babies that can sit unassisted (usually around 6 months).
