Baby Products Reviews of The First Years Sure Comfort Newborn to Toddler Tub

Customer Review: Happy Bathtime
Summary: 5 Stars

I received this tub as a baby shower gift when I was pregnant with my son. My husband and I were so excited to finally use it when our baby's cord stump fell off. We didn't use the hammock part, we just put him in the infant seat in the tub so he would be warmer. He loves the bath and I feel secure using it. He fits in it perfectly and I don't worry about him slipping around in it. The tub has little places to put your soap and wash clothes. It also has a little plug on the side to drain the tub, although, honestly, I just flip the thing over and dump it out in the bathtub. We set it in our master bathroom bathtub and I sit in the empty space left over. I don't worry about splashes or filling it. I highly recommend this tub to all new moms.

Customer Review: Loved this toddler tub
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this toddler tub after reading the reviews. I was using one from a friend but it seemed small. I bought this one since it was also a toddler tub. I am glad I did. I love this tub. My baby is 5 months old right now so he is not sitting up yet. We are using the infant side now and will use the toddler side when he can sit up on his own. I love that it is roomier than the one we had before. He seems more comfortable in it. He loves to take a bath so I am glad I invested in this tub. When he is a toddler it will be nice to have him confined in a small tub so it will use less water then giving him a bath in the regular tub. We can also take it with us when we visit family and not worry about how we are going to give him a bath.

Customer Review: Happy baths
Summary: 5 Stars

I absolutely love and adore this tub. My baby didn't like baths initially until we bought this. He can sit back and slouch comfortably while I get him clean. He feels absolutely secure and safe and I am able to bathe him quickly and with no fuss. It is well designed and has a number of useful details. There is the plug which is heat-sensitive which will change color to let you know if the water is too hot for your baby, a spot to hold the soap and other bathing sundries and the tub itself fits perfectly onto most standard kitchen sinks. I like this last feature in particular because I or my husband don't have to crouch or lean over too much while bathing our baby.
Bathtime is always a pleasure with this tub.

Customer Review: love it
Summary: 5 Stars

It's a great product cuz it lasts a long time. I used this in the kitchen sink when my baby was a newborn and then we put it in the bathtub when he got older. I also really like the slots for the shampoo, etc... It's big enough that my son could probably fit in it until he's ready for showers. And of course it's cheap.

A couple of minor issues:
I washed the hammock with the laundry and it shrank, so I guess I'll have to find another one for the next baby.
I wish this tub would fold, compact items are just so much better.
I wish I could hang it up or something to get it out of the way-it just sits in our bathtub and is in the way when the adults go in to shower.

Customer Review: Worst baby tub ever!
Summary: 1 Stars

I've had many styles of baby tubs, and several hard tubs similar to this one. This is the worst, and the main reason is the ledge is too short, one kick and he goes right over the top which makes him fall into the water. He's 5 weeks, and though I can see maybe this would work for an older baby, it does not work for a younger baby. It is also much deeper than our previous tubs, and when he goes over the ledge his head goes under the water. I end up only filling it half way. I also don't like the hard shell much for this age, as when he startles he hits his head and cries. We're changing over to a tub sling instead. I don't recommend this tub because it is not safe for a young baby!
