I read a lot of reviews about these bottles, not only here, but at Babies R Us. I was so excited to try them for the first time when my baby was 4 weeks old. I gave them three stars because he didn't take them very well at first and it took A LOT of practice. My husband always fed him but every time we gave him to someone else to feed him, it always took a little bit for the baby and also whoever was feeding him to get the suction going. I really like them but at the same time, they make feeding a little more frustrating and he sucks a lot of air unless you shove the bottle in his mouth. I hope others have better luck with them. I continue to use them when I'm not breastfeeding and it's definitely gotten better but it took awhile for me and baby to get used to them. Customer Review: Nice bottles, but my son didn't like them.

I only rate this product with 3 stars, because my son tried them but didn't like them. The bottles are very nice. The kit is great. A friend told me about these bottles and used them when weening her son from the breast to the bottle. I was having a rough time with my son, going from breast to bottle, so I tried these. He would not take them. He loves the evenflo classic bottle and nipple. The nipples are very small and that's what he likes. Hey, you never know till you try! For those babies who love the Breastflow kit, I'm sure it's the best kit. My son and I had to use something eles that worked for us. Good luck!Customer Review: My baby boy loves the new bottles!

This bottle was a lifesaver for me!!! I went back to work when my son was 12 weeks old, and he refused any and all bottles. We tried everything, medicine droppers, cup feedings, anything we could think of to get him to eat. He would only eat a few ounces a day while I was gone, and that only with a significant struggle. A local lactation consultant recommended the Breastflow bottles, so I gave them a try. The first day started off about the same, with a struggle, but then all of a sudden he latched on and downed the whole bottle. The next two bottles that day were much easier. By the second day, he was taking these bottles just as easily as if he was nursing. He switches back and forth from these bottles and nursing without a problem.
We have had the issue of milk getting trapped between the two nipples, but it is not hard to get it to drop back down into the bottle, just by squeezing the outer nipple.
I would recommend this product to anyone whose baby is experiencing some nipple confusion.

First, let me point out that this set does not come with 3 5-oz. bottles as stated, it only comes with 2.
I bought this set because I was very concerned that my 6 week old daughter would not take a bottle and then go back to me. These bottles are great for anyone concerned about the same thing. I have watched as she drinks from this bottle and she does have to do the same sucking action as required to drink from the breast. Usually I have to give her a little sqirt of milk to she will know what it is I am giving to her and then she'll latch on. I have had no problems with these bottles leaking as others have.
The problems I do have with these: my daughter still gets to much milk to fast and they do nothing to keep her from sucking in a lot of air and getting gassy. So, the flow is still faster (as with any bottle) than what she gets from me and I keep a bottle of gas drops on hand after she's had one.
Although I like these bottles for breastmilk, once I start giving her other liquids to drink, when she is of age, I will switch to a different brand.
