Customer Review: Not Bad for the Money
Summary: 4 Stars

We use the Playtex bottles with the disposable liners and had a problem finding a warmer that stated it could also do those types of bottles. This was the only one. It doesn't do too bad, but sometimes it has its days where it nearly boils the formula and the next day the formula might still be ice-cold after getting "warmed". We do like the auto-shut-off, because that's what we'd listen for at those 4am feedings (the click). Besides the occasional heating changes, the only other drawback is that there is no easy way to clean it, particularly if you live in an area that has highly mineralized water, and the marks on the measuring cup come off within the first month of use. I re-marked it with a Sharpie with the two water levels we use (Playtex bottles with and without the thumb slide) so that friends babysitting our son or helping us out by heating a bottle while over visiting know how much to put in. More than likely we will have to toss this when our son is done using bottles and will buy another one with our next child. Definitely nothing fancy and maybe not the absolute best product, but it works great for the price we paid for it.

Customer Review: Just ok
Summary: 3 Stars

We bought this warmer to heat up bottles for our new baby, and so far we've only used it for that purpose. It's okay for $15. We use it several times a day so it is at least worth that. It's a really cheap, crappy looking design, but I guess you get what you pay for.

Pros:
- Does the job most of the time. Probably helps that our baby is not too picky when it comes to bottle temperature.
- Done heating fast, usually in under 2 minutes.

Cons:
- Cheap feel/design/on button
- Doesn't heat the bottle too well, even with "max" amount of water. Formula ends up lukewarm. We use this to heat up 4 oz. of formula, I can't imagine how poorly it will heat bigger bottles!
- You can't turn it off once it's on by pushing the button. It does turn itself off after the heat cycle is done, though.
- Could be a fire hazard, saw a spark under the unit the first week I had it. Hasn't done it since, however it's probably not a good idea to leave the unit on & walk away.

Overall it's just okay. Not too impressed, I'm sure there are better models out there but this one does the job for now.

Customer Review: Small, fast, convenient -- once you figure out the water
Summary: 4 Stars

This really is a great product. It heats up 4 oz of refrigerated breast milk within a couple of minutes. It's small enough to stick in a diaper bag if you're going out, too, and since the water vial has a cap, you can pre-fill it. The only trouble was that the recommended amount of water did not heat the milk beyond a cool temperature -- not even to room temp. After experimenting, I learned that I had to fill it about a half inch ABOVE the highest number marking (10) in order for the milk to be about as warm as it is from the breast. And I checked my fridge -- it's the normal temp, about 37 degrees, so it's not because the bottles were colder than normal. So, I guess I'm a little concerned about what'll happen when we need to give 8 oz instead of 4!

*UPDATE* I now use this with the 8-oz size Dr. Brown's bottles (heating with inner parts removed), with 6 oz of milk, and they seem to heat up with less water. They are also a harder plastic than the bottles we used to use (Medela bottles), so I think perhaps the harder plastic conducts heat better. Keep this in mind when experimenting with water amounts. Just a theory.

Customer Review: This Product was a Life Saver
Summary: 5 Stars

This item is a must have for any on the go parents! Any time that you are away from the comforts of home you can warm your baby's bottle in moments. If you've ever been delayed at an appointment longer then expected and not have access to a cup of hot water you'll know exactly how valuable this gadget is. Just plug it in and add the premeasured vile of water and in moments your bottle is perfect. It does warm quickly, so I usually don't go to far, in about the amount of time it takes to change a diaper your bottle will be ready. As with all warming methods, it will get warmer on the bottom, so just simply shake to assure the temp. is constant throughout the bottle (you would do this with any warming method to assure that your baby does not get a hot spot, so it is not an inconvenience as some have suggested). If you use disposible bottles (liner drop in's) you will need to use a plastic bottle to warm and transfer it to the drop in. We did this with breast milk when it was inconvient to breast feed and it was quick and easy for us. I just can't say enough about this warming system, I've recommended it to everyone I know!

Customer Review: Does the job in a reliable way
Summary: 5 Stars

This bottle warmer is great. We use it for every feeding and rely on it so much.

The way it works is there is a measurement tube you use to fill with water. The amount of water you fill is based on how much formula is in the bottle. The warmer comes with a chart so you'll know how much water to use. We followed this chart at first but had to make adjustments to the measurement. After about 1 day of using it, we were able to get a feel of how much water there needs to be and when to pull it out from the warmer. No big deal, it just takes trial and error... you'll get the feel of it after about 2 feedings.

So after filling the warmer with water, you put the bottle in and hit the button. The button has an orange light when it's on and automatically shuts off when it's done. If you leave the bottle in the warmer after it shuts off, it'll still be in the process of heating up. So the longer you leave it in, the hotter it will get. Like I said earlier, you'll get the feel of when you need to take it out.

We use playtex angled bottles and this warmer supports it. I recommend this warmer.
