Customer Review: Not Worth It!!!
Summary: 2 Stars

I didn't put this on my registry because I really didn't think I'd need one and I thought the price was to high. BUT. After listening to the wails of a hungry, screaming, wailing infant waiting for the bottle to heat in the hot water or wait until the bottle became room temperature and it was still to cool (((sigh))). I gave in.

This bottle warmer is "HORRIBLE"!!!!!!
1. The cord is very short so your limited as to where it can be plugged in.
2. It's impossible to read the measurements there written to small.
3. Very easy to burn yourself with the hot water do to the bubbling water and short cord.
4. The milk is either to hot or to cold. So thats an additional 5-7 minutes reheating or cooling.
5. You MUST watch the bottle carefully because: A) Bottle can melt if warmer gets to hot B) Water will boil over if warmer gets to hot C) Milk becomes to hot in the bottle and flows from the nipple
6. If C) happens throw the warmer out unless you enjoy the smell of burnt milk and the smoke that comes with it

So unless you have no life and any where from 10-20 minutes to devote to giving this warmer your undivided attention this is not the product for you!

Customer Review: Buy this warmer for the convenience

I am currently breast-feeding, but pump a bottle for my husband to use to feed our daughter at night. I wasn't sure if I wanted to invest in one more thing - especially since we weren't going to need it constantly, but I'm very GLAD we did! It saves time and makes a perfect bottle every time!

As some of the other reviewers note, you DO need to read the directions to find out how much water to use with the amount of liquid you are heating. For example, use the marking of 7 ml of water on the included measuring tool for 3-4 oz of milk or formula. The measuring tool attaches to the side of the warmer so that it is always handy.

All you do is measure the water and pour it into the warmer, then add the bottle. Do not have a lid or nipple already on the bottle. As long as you use the right amount AND wait for the water to evaporate entirely and turn itself off, you get a perfect bottle! I like that you have a light that goes off when it's done. It's a good visual cue that you can see from across the room. You can also hear when the last of the water evaporates (a small hiss).

I've used Dr. Brown's bottles - both the 4oz and 8 oz size - and it works great.

Customer Review: Quick, efficient, and easy
Summary: 5 Stars

We have 4 month old twins and just purchased two of these bottle warmers. Having read the other reviews, we were a little hesitant about them, but we've been very pleased so far. They are working exactly as advertised. Set up is easy - plug it in and spend 10 seconds reading the directions: add tap water to the dispenser up to the appropriate level (#8 for Dr. Brown bottles), pour it into the warmer, insert bottle, press button. When it automatically shuts off 3 minutes later (indicated when the light goes out) you have a nice, warm bottle. To get consistent results, we've learned a few tips: Be precise in the amount of water added to the dispenser ("About 8" isn't good enough); don't shake the bottle to mix it while it's warming - it tends to overheat if you do - just wait until it's done; don't wait and let the bottle sit in the warmer after it's done, but instead remove it as soon as the light goes ; give the thing a wash every few weeks - it's lightweight and the area to be washed is about the size of a big coffee mug, so it takes about 30 seconds to clean. Overall, we'd say this warmer has done its job well. It's reliable, consistent, easy to use, quick, and cheap. Highly recommended.

Customer Review: A warm meal soothes a fussy baby!
Summary: 5 Stars

I am one of those moms who has a "lazy nurser". Wanting to exclusively breastfeed for at least the first year, I was devastated that my sweet little girl would not latch on properly and that when she did, she was unable to empty me completely. Therefore, we are stuck with frequent breastfeedings followed by supplemental bottle feedings.

My husband and I had purchased this bottle warmer planning to use it after I returned to work to heat up breastmilk bottles. I have to tell you, this warmer is terrific! It works equally well with breastmilk and formula. It is quick, and as long as you follow the directions, it heats to utter perfection. We have never had an overheated bottle, and my daughter loves the temperature. She sucks it right down! We have tried both Gerber and Avent bottles, and they both work well in this warmer.

Also, the size is really convenient. It doesn't take up much space in the kitchen (not to be totally vain, but it WOULD be nice if it came in black or ecru for better matching capabilities).

I liked it so much that I sent one to my husband's expectant cousin. I strongly recommend this product.

Customer Review: Good bottle warmer.
Summary: 4 Stars

I wanted something simple so after looking around in the store my husband and I chose this for our baby registry.

For the most part, it works great. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because filling the tube with the amount of water "supposedly" required isn't entirely accurate. Sometimes we'd put the appropriate water and it wouldn't heat enough. On the other hand, there are times we wait until the unit tells us the unit is warm and it's super HOT! That is defitnely a warning--it doesn't just warm the bottle. Sometimes it really HEATS it up.

I just recently also started using the baby food jar warmer attachement and that works great.

This product is compact so it won't take up a lot of room (something that was very important to me because I live in an apartment) and cleans very well. The cord, however, is not long at all so you'll have to put it close to the outlet unless you can use an extension cord. It's great for quick fixes though. The bottle does not take long at all to heat whether large or small.

A good product. It is durable and I know will last me for other children I may have.
