Customer Review: Serve their purpose until kids are old enough to be taught better

I don't know what the previous reviewers were talking about. These are what we have used for both of our children,, and they work just fine. Not real expensive, which is good when you have lots of plugs in your house to block, and they are hard enough to get out that it helps prevent injuries.
Of course, you can't expect the plugs to do all the work for you. You do need to teach your kids not to play with the sockets as soon as you think they are developing interest in them. These are to prevent accidents, to allow you time to get to your child before they do damage to themselves playing around a socket, not to leave your child unattended and fiddling with them.
Just bother teaching your kids some common sense and paying a little attention to supervising them, and this is a great product. One of the essentials to baby safety!
