Customer Review: Not accurate when tested on an adult.

This product was continually inaccurate when tested on an adult. Body temperature was 98.6, but this tympanic themometer ranged from 99.6-101.6, even after taking double/repeated measurements of both ears. I imagine this would be extremely concerning to a new parent if this themometer gives false positives for "fever" (our baby hasn't arrived yet, I haven't tried it on her). I followed directions and tried to find any reason for the descrepancy in adults and could not. If you do use this product and your baby has a "fever", I would double check with a digital reading from the armpit or rectum.
