Baby Products Reviews of The First Year's Infant To Toddler Tub with SlingCustomer Review: Great for older infants/toddlers Summary: 3 Stars
Our daughter is 9 months old and the First Years's tub is the best place we have tried for bath time. The grip on the seat helps our daughter to stay upright -- even when she is all slippery from being soapy. This was a big concern for us with the "adult" tub or the kitchen sink.
I also like how the bottom of the tub has "feet" that allow it to perch steadily on my sink basin while I give my daughter a bath. It's so much nicer to be able to stand and give her a bath than to try to kneel on the bathroom floor!
Customer Review: All you need Summary: 5 Stars
This tub was perfect for our family. The sling is great, and tub fit really well in our sink. Once he started splashing too much, we moved this from the sink to the tub, and he had a really easy transition. I didn't have any issues with it leaking as another reviewer mentioned. Our son is 1 year old now, and we still use this tub! I liked it so much I bought a second one to keep at the in-laws.
I personally don't see the reason to spend anymore on a baby tab. It's comfortable, convenient, and easy to clean.
Customer Review: Worthless without the sling Summary: 5 Stars
I used this with my first child until he could sit up without wobbling. However, with my second child, I only used it for about the first month. The sling is the best part, it cradles the baby so that you can easily wash the child by yourself. I stopped using it with my second child because I was already filling the tub for one child, so I just figured it was easier to bathe them together. Now I am using a seat that a friend gave me a that supports the baby in the tub, so once again, I am pretty much hands-free.
Customer Review: Just what I was looking for Summary: 5 Stars
I have to say, I am very HAPPY with this tub. It fits in our kitchen sink perfectly and seems very stable and durable. Mine did not come with a sling, unfortunately....but my 3 week old daughter had no problems at all sitting safely upright in it. As long as we keep a warm washcloth on her chest she is content sitting there. I was so lucky to have found this for only $1 at a garage sale (definately the deal of the day) but it is TOTALLY worth the full price, anyways. I recommend this baby tub.
Customer Review: We love it! Summary: 5 Stars
My daughter is 4 months old, and I still love this tub. The sling was so nice in the beginning. Now she is using the infant reclined seat, but I left the sling attached at that end, so the foam would give extra padding. She kicks and plays now! She loves it. I use it in the bathtub, because we have a heater in the bathroom, and our kitchen is a bit cool for winter baths. It will be great as she grows though; I won't have to buy a bath seat for a while, if ever. I can just use this!
