Baby Products Reviews of The First Year's Infant To Toddler Tub with SlingCustomer Review: Really great tub for the price!! Summary: 4 Stars
I am very happy with this tub. If you want something simple, inexpensive and not bulky, this is the correct choice. It is easily adjustable to your growing baby. My baby was a little over 8 lbs and the sling worked great at the beginning. Be sure to keep an eye on the baby as he gains weight though! After one month, I removed the sling as my son's weight lowered him into the tub and I noticed his back was resting uncomfortably on the bumps. I like the nook for the soap and other supplies. I do keep a handle on the tub as the bottom will slip a little if the kitchen counter is wet. Overall, great buy!!
Customer Review: Good product, useless sling Summary: 4 Stars
This tub is great. My twin girls seem to be very comfortable in it (one at a time :) ). I'd only mention one thing that may improve the tub - some additional soft padding material on the edges where the babies hit their head sometimes when they sway from side to side.
I found the swing to be useless, because it's only used in the beginning when you can't submerge the baby in the water. Meaning, the baby sits in this sling that gets wet and then cold while suspended in the air.
Overall, this tub works as expected and I have no complaints about it. Good product!
Customer Review: The only tub needed ! Summary: 5 Stars
This tub has been very useful. I have been using it from the time my twins were born. They are 10 months old and I still use it for them. The hammock was very helpful when they were little. After they were able to sit up I put them on the other side of the tub and they both loved it. I started filling the tub with some water so that they can splash water and play. One of them does it and the other hates taking a bath these days. That is another story ! The tub has been convenient because it fits right into the kitchen sink and I have place to even keep their bath toys.
Customer Review: You might not need the sling for your newborn Summary: 5 Stars
I have never used the sling because I gave my baby sponge baths until his stupm fell, which was after week four. My baby is a month old and he is too heavy for the sling now (it touches the bath tub even if I set it very high) but he fits inthe tub nicely and he seems to be confortable, no signs of skin damage or anything (which I read about in one review). I feel that sponge baths are safer when you are dealing with newborns, there is no risk of babies sliping out of your hands! and trying to keep that stump dry... I would buy this item again but not the sling.
Customer Review: Better than the Primo Bath. Does it's job! Summary: 4 Stars
Okay, I bought this and didn't love it. Then, I bought the Primo bath so my baby doesn't slide around so much....well, she just wasn't comfortable laying in a molded position. Anyways, switched back to this tub. It's lighter and smaller, so it's easier to work with too. The only complaint is that your baby's arm may get stuck to the side of the inclined seat. Be cautious. Didn't happen to us since our baby is still small but I overheard a woman mention it at the store. Otherwise, worth the price!
And the infant mesh net didn't work well for us....
