Baby Products Reviews of The First Year's Infant To Toddler Tub with Sling, BlueCustomer Review: What a Great Baby Product That Seems to Get Better with each Offering Summary: 5 Stars
The First Years Infant to Toddler tub with New Born Sling is just great. I could not believe, looking at it at first whether it would be comfortable for our newborn, but the sling is just great, and baby loves the warm water and fits comfortably in the sling as mom enjoys bathing her.
It is built to place on the middle post or section between a double sink and the tub is rather sturdy when placed on our double sink, although like bathing our newborn in a warmer environment than a kitchen. The tub is also not too heavy if you are carting it with enough water for the baby to bathe in. There is a plug at the bottom for easy draining. There are basically three ways to seat a babe. The sling for the new born a more padded seat for an infant to recline in and a more sturdy seat for the toddler to sit up in if you wish to use it.
When you think of it, for the money, this Infant to Toddler tub will save you in the long run until your little one is ready for the larger tub. Great gift idea and should be on every moms registry.
Customer Review: Awesome for Tubby Time !! Summary: 5 Stars
The Sure Comfort Deluxe Newborn-to-Toddler Tub is awesome for tubby time! I purchased this tub when I first started watching our family friends daughter a month ago. She's a tiny baby and I loved the fact that it had this little hammock to it, so that way she wouldn't always be completely submerged in the water. Plus the sides were more close together so she wouldn't be spread out all over. Everyday when it's `tubby time' (she now just turned 4 months and is still very tiny, so we still need to use the hammock). She lays back in `awe', so relaxed, comfy, and smiles and completely enjoys her tubby time. It's nice and cushioned for her soft head, it's an absolute winner this tub! I know it states that the plug on the side will change colors if the water is too hot, but lets be realistic, who is going to put a child into a hot tub? So I'm not concerned about that feature. It's perfect for me and perfect for her and I know that it's going to get lots of use still to come! I love this tub, she loves this tub, so we're all happy and that's what counts!
Customer Review: Great value Summary: 5 Stars
We bought this tub before our son was born because we liked the fact that we could use it as a newborn tub as well as an older baby tub. Our son was born a very small (but healthy) preemie who got to come home after a short stay in the hospital. The day his cord fell off, we decided to give him his first bath. He, of course, hated it, but the tub was perfect, even for his tiny little under 5 lb body. He's now 10 weeks old and LOVES his bath, and the tub has been great. He splashes me happily and kicks his little feet with no problems. He's a surprisingly long baby (for being so small at birth) and we've had no problems with the tub being too short. I like the non slip padding, the fact that it is light weight and easily portable. I also like the angle of the newborn side, because I flip him over and he props on the pad while I wash his back and cute little tush. He loves to flip over and bends his legs the instant they hit the water again and chews on the back of the tub while I wash him. I would highly recommend this to any new parent.
Customer Review: A simple tub that works! Summary: 5 Stars
As a new mom, I read several online reviews before deciding on which tub to buy. I decided to register for the Cradle n Comfort Tub, which I received at my shower. It was great for sponge baths before my daughter's umbilical cord fell off, but afterwards for a real bath I discovered it didn't fit in my kitchen sink, and you can't drain it to allow room for fresh water to rinse your baby! (Cushioned cover that wraps around the tub blocks the drain plug) Needless to say, I had to get another tub. After 30 minutes of pacing in front of the tub section at the store, I chose this simple tub- it's less expensive than many other choices, my daughter just loves it, it's lightweight and fits perfectly into my kitchen sink. The drain has a cool feature where the color of the plug lightens if the water is too warm. And it has a little holder on the "toddler" side of the tub where you can keep things like shampoo within reach. After a bath, I let the tub dry out in my bathtub and I actually store it out of the way under her crib until next bath time!
Customer Review: I like this tub. Summary: 4 Stars
I really just have two complaints about this tub. First, it is bulky. Fortunately, we have two bathrooms. I just give the baby a bath in the guest bathroom and leave the baby tub inside the big bathtub to dry. That way it is out of our way and we don't have to mess with it between baby's baths. Second, it didn't fit in our kitchen sink when we lived in our apartment. So, I just put the baby tub inside our bathtub and bathed her that way. It's a little hard on the back and knees, but we will have to deal with that when she outgrows the baby tub, anyway. Otherwise, I like it. My daughter is ten months old, and we still use the baby tub. It saves water, and it keeps her from crawling all over the place. If I didn't have the baby tub, she would be crawling and walking all over during her bath, and who knows how many times she would have hurt herself! Also, I haven't had the color-changing plug change colors on me, but my hubby said it worked for him once. I can't say how this tub compares to others, but I have been happy with it.
