Customer Review: The best mobile on the market!!

Our 2 month old absolutely loves this thing! Ever since we brought her home, this was the one item that would always capture her attention. She now tracks each one and reaches for them as they pass! Even when she was very "colicky" or suffering from her reflux, she would calm down as soon as we placed her in her crib and turned the mobile on. As for the critics who say that it only fits on "cheap cribs" I'm not sure what that's about as our daughter's Ragazzi crib is by no means cheap. As for the "noise", the whirring of the motor is just slightly pronounced, while the other sounds are from the rings sliding down -- its just part of the overall package and why it succeeds in capturing our daughter's attention. The Bottom Line: I wish they had this when we had our first child 5 years ago. The only down side is that we use the mobile so much that we need fresh batteries every couple weeks -- so we've invested in some rechargable batteries!

My son is 5 months old. He liked it since he was 2 weeks old. He smiled for the first time at this mobile. I just happened to get up one morning and saw him waive his fours and smile to the mobile. I grabbed the camera and video taped it.
A friend of mine has a baby who would not respond at all to the mobile they have (brown bears). When she tried mine, her baby could not have enough of my mobile. She just had to go buy one.
Babies can not see many colours. They can see red, black and white. Red is the only colour they see clearly until they are 18 months. This mobile has red and other bold colours.
My son pulls on it, but it has not stopped working or fallen, and my son is 5 months old. The mobile really should not be used for a child over 5 months, but I keep using it.
As for it being too low, I think that if it was higher, the baby would not be able to see it clearly, since they do not see very far when they are little.

Although my son loves this mobile, we have now been through 3 in 2 months. Really, it's been less than that b/c for the first 6 weeks we really didn't use it. This past time I brought it back to BRU, and it worked for 4 days. The mobile will not turn but the music plays. I have tried calling Tiny Love at 1-888-TINYLOVE and always get a message that says "Our offices are now closed. Our normal business hours are Mon-Fri 8-5, blah blah blah" but this message is ALWAYS on. I have never been able to reach them even when I call during business hours. I am furious at this so called company's complete lack of customer service. I am now going to take it higher at BRU. They should not be carrying a product of such poor quality. PLEASE read all of the reviews below about the product not working before you buy it!!! Notice everyone either gives it a 5 or a 1 b/c it would be a great product if it WORKED!Customer Review: Without a doubt the best mobile around

This was the second mobile I bought for my son. The first was one with a remote that never even caught his interest. After watching him interact with the animal one by tiny love at my mother's I went right out and gladly plopped down the $ for this one. Here are the main points...The musical selection is great, not too loud and plays for a long time.
In addition to the spinning shapes, there are sliding beads that move down the supporting wires with each 1/3 rotation. These are bright and make a light clacking noise as they go down. My Son just loves to watch them and at 3 months, he even anticipates them falling (followed by cooing and kicking).
The mobile is very adjustable and allows for movement without music, but I can say we have never used this because he likes the music so much. He will even watch this while going through a diaper change.
Last, great battery Life! Need I say more.

I finally decided it was time to get my 2 month old son a mobile. I started to look around at all those pastel ones and I didn't think that they would be stimulating enough. My son has one of those activity gyms and he doesn't seem interested in it at all - so I felt that he needed something more exciting. I was really worried about the price of this one, but it looked more 'fun'. From the moment I put it in his crib he started cooing and kicking and smiling! He LOVED it!! From the very first time he used it, it kept his interest for 20+ minutes! That's a long time for a 2 mo. old. It is worth every penny and I highly recommend it. I have to agree that the motor is kind of noisy, but my baby doesn't mind at all. I think most mobiles will capture a babys attention for a short time and they will stare at it, but my son does way more than stare - he kicks and coos and smiles!
