This is a nice mobile because of the bright colors and the classical music plays for quite a while. I have the one with the remote control and you can use the remote from outside the room. I do not like that the music is not a piano like it was composed. It is like keyboard music with some high pitches that are disturbing. Also, the mobile has some little pieces that are meant to move around but when they do, they make a falling noise which startles my little one. I do like that you can take the mobile off and just leave the music box though. I plan to put the mobile part in the car for future entertainment after 5 months which is when it is recommended to take it away.Customer Review: The Magic Mobile

When I first received this mobile I thought about returning it. The music sounded tinny and the motor was loud. My opinion changed when I saw how much my newborn daughter loved it. I called it the "magic mobile". Our daughter was so intrigued by it and it always put her to sleep. Every time she laid under it, it was as if she was viewing it for the first time. Now she's nine months old. I find the mobile now stimulates her too much to put her asleep but I can still use it. I put her in her crib and turn on the mobile and she's totally entertained. I have 15 minutes to quickly take care of something while she's in a safe spot. I have given it as a gift.Customer Review: The Best, Longest Playing Mobile out there!

With my first 2 children, my husband and I were at our witts end to find something that played music for more than 5 minutes. When I got pregnant with this baby, I saw the ad for this mobile in a magazine and new instantly that I wanted it. I put it on my registry, recieved it as a gift and have not been disappointed. My daughter loves it! It puts her to sleep, no problem. The motor sound doesn't seem to bother her, they like that sort of "white noise." Don't be discouraged by this mobile not matching your bedding. Those matching moblies are nothing but cutsey, don't bother. I know it probably doesn't match your baby room decor, but if you want a mobile your infant will love, this is it. We're on baby number two using this mobile and they both loved it. A lot of thought was put into it's construction, from the black and white designs that baby sees best when first born, to the bright primary colors in geometric shapes with eyes, since Baby loves to look at faces. The classical music is also terrific; it's best feature is that it stays on for 15 minutes--plenty of time to lull any baby to sleep at bed time or keep him occupied when wide awake. The only draw-back is that I can't just turn on the music without the mobile moving as well.Customer Review: Primary Colors!

We registered for this mobile because it was the only one we could find with primary colors to go with our baby boy's nursery. We've been using it since the day he came home from the hospital. He loved the music and when he was almost 2 months old he really began watching it. He kicks and smiles and talks to it now. He absolutely LOVES it! It's definitely his favorite thing to talk to. It's given me a lot of time to get things done because he'll stay there talking to it for at least 30 minutes at a time. He's now almost 4 months old and the lullaby song puts him to sleep at night. We absolutely love this mobile!! It's the best thing we have for him.
