Swaddle Designs Mod Receiving Blanket The Swaddle Designs Mod Receiving Blanket comes in a variety of colors. It is made of preshrunk cotton flannel to help give baby the comfy feeling. The Receiving Blanket is designed by a nurse so that the child is always in mind. Swaddling a child is very important. A baby's natural position is with the arms bent at the elbows and the legs flexed. Wrap the child up just like that and don't worry about making attempts to straighten him/her out before starting. Our son is getting bigger and it is getting warmer where we live and I wanted something more light weight that would cover him up. We did swaddle him when he was a newborn and this blanket would have been good then, but it's great now. Wonderful buy!
