I have owned this thermometer for about 2 months and have used it several times with my young son. They promised a fast reading and I found that most of the time it is fast but there have been times where I have had to wait 30+ seconds for a reading. I looked in the manual and it says "if used correctly you will get a 7 second reading" so maybe I wasn't using it "correctly".
I love the storage compartment in the back to hold the different tips and I also love the fact that it can store the last 10 readings so you can view them. Overall, I would recommend this to a friend.

I received two other thermometers as gifts but this was the closest to what they use at the doctor's office so I immediately liked that. Plus, it has all the attachments right in the back which means I can't lose them and I probably would have without the storage! So far, I only use the rectal attachment because my children are both under the age of two but I have had extremely accurate readings. I use this a lot, have had it a year and a half and have never had to replace the batteries. This is what I give to my friends who are expecting babies. I think this is a great product.For some reason my first one wouldn't connect anymore but then I had had it for 3 years and with 2 boys 14 months apart it got used a lot.so I bought another one.I love this thermometer.My son has a heart condition so I have to take a [...] for him and the [...] conncetion is just small enough not to hurt him and big enough that it gives me an accurtate reading.I love the colour coding too.It really helps in the night time.Thanks for a great product.The shipping was fast too.Customer Review: The only thermometer you'll ever need!!!

My husband and I just had our first child, and we had 3 other thermometers until I seen this in a magazine and had to have one...so I ordered it, got it in and we use this thermometer and this one only...it was the best money spent!!! We love it!! I always recommend this product to all excepting mothers, the display is bright and reads in just seconds, which is a good thing if your baby is wiggly, like my baby girl. This thermometer is great! I love the three ends to it! You don't have to worry about cross contamination between the rectal use for my newborn now and underarm or oral use later. I've checked it against "regular" digital thermometers and taken it on the same day as a doctor's visit and I've found it to be very accurate. I also like the storage compartment on the back side of the unit because I would certainly lose the attachments!
