I got this for my son because the walker wouldn't contain him. I have to honestly say this has been the best purchase I've ever made regarding my kids. I bought the extension to make it larger and I use it with the 24" blue foam pads from Toys R' Us. I made little slits in the pads and used zip-ties to secure it to the play yard. This is the best way that I found to KEEP my child from moving the play yard around the house.
I would definitely recommend this to any mom out there that needs a few hours of peace!

This is the best $100 we have spent so far. I say $100 because we added the extension. I like that it is taller than other play yards. This allows me to take a shower, clean the kitchen or just lay down with my 10 month old when I get tired of chasing him around. At night when he won't go to sleep, we put pillows down in the play yard, I get in there with him and he will usually fall asleep. This will keep your child safe from hazards in the house when you cannot keep an eye on him 24/7. Very worth the money.Customer Review: partial relief!

Our grandson is 17 months old and is climbing out of his playpen and crib and running all over the place. My husband and I babysit for him and he wears us out. We bought this playard to safely contain him. At first he loved playing in it, but not long after he is climbing out of it too. He plays in it for a while, which is nice because it gives us partial relief. We really like it a lot, but wish it was made different so he could not climb out of it! On the whole though, we love it even for partial relief!Customer Review: Good gate, but wont keep in a climber!

We bouth this last year to put around the Christmas tree so that our daughter wouldn't be pulling ornaments off the tree and breaking them. It worked great! Afterwards, it worked great until she was about two. At that point she would climb it and get out. Also, she eventually learned how to push the whole thing over (which terrified me) and we ended up having to ancor it to the wall. She's two and a half now and we still put her in it sometimes, if she's really tired and we don't think she will try climbing it.Customer Review: Looks sturdy, but isn't

I bought this because I needed something to put my son in while I did house work... something roomy. I also purchased the extension. Once he was in it he would stand up against it and it would bend or move so easily. He wasn't even trying to move it or bend it and it would. My mom had the other brand yard and it was much sturdier! I wanted to try this one because I like this brand, but I would highly recommend the other brand. The gate is a nice addition to this one though, and that is why I gave it any stars.
