I purchased this item with the additional panels for my 7 month old and couldn't be happier with it. We have two dogs so this keeps baby in and them out, not to mention keeping my busy bundle of chaos in a safe place. I have used it inside and it's great. Outside is where I really appreciate it. My son has been trying to 'escape' outside since he could move and it's wonderful to have somewhere to put him so that he can happily play and I can get things done in the yard. I use it with a shade tent, the play yard fits inside and my son is out of the sun. It is truly and wonderful product!Customer Review: Saved my floor!

This has been such a great investment. I have an older small dog who has started to have an occasional accident on the floor and a younger small dog who is just rotten when we leave. I had tried just shutting the older dog in a room but he scratched on the door and door frame and really done some damage being nervous. This has allowed them to be secure without so much stress. I have an in home daycare. I have a variety of ages. The little ones are always getting into the big kids things. The babies also needed a "safe" space away from the toddlers. This item is sturdy and easy to open. I have used it as a room divider, but only if something is behind it supporting it. It would fall over if stretched all the way out. I am very pleased with it. I have ordered the extension kit to give the kids a little more room.
You do have to watch and make sure the older ones do not climb on it. They have tried.
I think it is worth the money.

We purchased this for our 15 month-old twins to play in but it was a little small (even with one child and toys it would be small). So we purchased 2 Two-Piece Extension kits and it is awesome. It is durable and sturdy as long as you don't make it into a square or rectangle, I don't know why but it is easy to push over in these shapes. The playyard keeps the children safe in areas that may be too open or not childproof. It is easy to store or take along on outings... just fold and go.
I highly recommend this product for people with children on the go.

This product is a little flimsy and the "handle" is attached by a snap, which no one tested to make sure that it would stay snapped under the weight of the product. As a mother of twins, I purchased this product so that I could contain my girls during my sons little league football games. It definitely does that, but it would have been nice to have a better/more secure way of lugging that thing around. Its heavy and impossible to carry out to the field when I am already pushing a double jogging stroller with a diaper bag, umbrellas and a fold up chair for my self.
