Customer Review: Good for up to 3 months
Summary: 3 Stars

This tub was great initially. The sling worked wonderfully, except it did not fit in our kitchen sink. It cradled him perfectly for baths when he was a newborn, by keeping him comfortable while allowing me to bathe him. I liked the shower and so did he, it seemed to calm him. The problems started when my son was three months. As he started to grow, his leg room became smaller and smaller, even after taking the shower out. So, now at 24in, we are looking for another tub, since he is not able to sit up on his own there is just not enough room. He looks uncomfortable. The shower is difficult to use b/c of where the button sits and it does not rest comfortably in the hand. Our shower stopped working as he turned four months and it was not the batteries, so now I am filling the shower and pouring the water over my son by hand. Another really good feature is that you can hang the tub to dry after bathe time is over. I would not recommend this tub if you want to use it until your baby is a toddler. It does not transition well.

Customer Review: Read reviews before buying

Just to echo the common complaints, the shower spray broke after a few uses, and the tub is too short. My baby kicks his feet on the plastic at the bottom end of the tub and sometimes hits his heat on the top end of the tub. It definitely takes 2 people to wash a baby in this tub. One thing though is that you don't have to keep the shower unit in the tub. If you are giving your baby a bath in your bathroom you can set the shower unit next to it. I still use it to rinse off my soapy baby by simply pouring the clean water over him. I would not buy this product again and would recommend against it. If anyone finds a better solution please post here so we can all get it!

I did find a better solution and thought I'd post it. Simply buy an inflatable bath tub and use the sling until your baby can sit up on his own. When it comes to rinsing the soap off the baby we bought a detachable shower head for our bathroom which comes in handy for a lot of things including baby bath.

Customer Review: it does not work!
Summary: 1 Stars

I was very excited to receive this bath tub thinking that the shower attachment would save having to use a cup to scoop water for rinses. I was very disappointed with this product. The shower attachment head is made of very flimsy plastic and of very poor quality. It broke after only 2 baths and I could not get the water to pump anymore. I debated just keeping the tub part and using it, but why have the most expensive tub on the market when you can buy just a tub with no shower for half the price? Lucky for me, I kept the gift receipt and was able to return it to the store as defective merchandise. The salesperson at the store who handled my return said she had received dozens of returns of this product within the last few weeks. It is a great concept but poor execution. Buy a cheaper tub and save yourself the hassle and headache. If you need a shower attachment, replace your shower head with one that has a handheld attachment and use it on your baby with low water flow. It works much better.

Customer Review: Very Disappointed

This tub was given to me as a gift. I thought it would be a good tub to have because of the shower unit. I was wrong. When I opened it up and started using it I quickly learned that the shower does not work. The button is hard to press and the water does not come out very good. The sling sits too low during the infant stage. When I sat it up higher my daughter slides down and her legs become too long for her to sit comfortably. I just had to stop using the shower unit altogether. It was too much trouble just to give the baby a simple bath. Now instead of the shower unit I use a cup to rinse her off. The instructions say that if the shower unit stops working then you have to place the sprayer below the unit and it will start back working. This in fact was not the case. The unit never did start back working. Now I just use the tup without the shower. I am glad that I did not put any money into it and I wish I had read the review on this tub before placing it on my registry.

Customer Review: preemie mommy
Summary: 1 Stars

I registered for this tub for my premature baby. He is very small and floppy, so I figured that the sling would help me hold him with one hand and I could rinse him with the other. Well, the theory was great if the shower actually worked. The first tub we got, the shower didn't operate at all. It just made a loud noise. I returned it for a new one and that worked for about 4 baths and then stopped, just made the same noise.

The other issue is the sling isn't very supportive. It doesn't hold the baby's head or neck up very well. It also allows the baby to slide down toward the bottom of the bath so you have to move them back up at least 3 or 4 times during the bath.

Considering that this is the most expensive bath I expected a little better quality.
I found that the 3.99 bear sponge that you just put in the kitchen sink works much better!

The only good thing is that so far Babies R Us has been great about taking this back.
