Baby Products Reviews of Summer Infant Newborn-To-Toddler Bath Center & ShowerCustomer Review: Not too impressed Summary: 3 Stars
This tub is ok. The first time we used it, the plug did not fit properly and water drained out all over our floor. The sling doesn't work well...our baby sinks down so low into it that she is hard to wash and she looks totally uncomfortable. When putting the sling up into the higher position, she slides down into the tub because there is no support to hold her up...and washing a baby with one hand while holding her up with the other is definatley not my idea of making bath time easier. The water sprayer is the only part of hte tub that I am happy with. The container that holds the water has a water temperature indicator so you can be sure the water is not too hot or cold and the sprayer has a gentle spray that rinses soap well. My baby loves the spray of the water. All in all, its an ok tub...just make sure the plug is in snugly and don't buy it because of the />This tub is NOT worth the money. When I first reviewed it, I loved the sprayer...until it broke after two uses. And from what I've read, this happens alot with this tub. Seems like a cheaply made product, if you ask me. I still use it, but I'm not exactly happy with it.
Customer Review: BIG DISAPPOINTMENT! BUYER BEWARE! Summary: 1 Stars
I was so excited to get this tub. I thought the shower feature was such a plus. I find it easy to add baby wash to the bath water, wash my baby, then rinse with fresh clean water from the shower. The tub is a little short. My daughter is very long and she already has to bunch up her little legs to fit (at only 8 wks old this was a problem). But it still works. Here is my big gripe...
IT RUINED A SET OF BRAND NEW RECHARGABLE BATTERIES!!!! The battery compartment is evidently not waterproof. We installed the batteries and used it. Then the next time I tried to use it and it didn't work. My husband opened the compartment and found the batteries all corroded! We took a picture and I am going to contact the company. Based on one other review I think it might be a fight to get the cost of the tub and batteries reimbursed to me. I am also going to try and contact a buyer or high up from BRU and let them know about the problem. Upon opening the case we found that acid had leaked INTO the shower bucket - that is dangerous to our baby! I can't imagine if she would have gotten some in her eyes or something!

Customer Review: BELIEVE ME-YOU'LL REGRET GETTING THIS TUB!!!NOT WORTH IT! Summary: 1 Stars
I too was a bit skeptical of the bad reviews on this item when it came time to register for baby stuff. My husband and I are very much into the "grow with baby" items such as this tub which boasts '4 in 1 toddler tub with shower' and so it seemed like a great product. The pitch on this item sounds good, but this tub is more trouble than it is worth. The net seat is awkward & has a hard metal frame that my baby kept sliding down onto. The shower is next to impossible to use with wet, soapy hands as the button to make the water spray is on the back of the handle instead of on the sides where, in my opinion, it should be. On one side of the spray handle nozzle thing is some sharp piece of plastic & I have no idea why it is there except to harm baby when they try to reach for the nozzle. The tub is bulky & awkward & the net seat says weird things like "Sitting on the beach...eating the sand." I don't know who designed this but it was obviously someone who has never given an infant a bath before. I would have given this 0 stars, but that wasn't an option. Save your money & go buy a sponge that baby can lay on at Target or WalMart.
Customer Review: Love the tub; ditched the shower Summary: 3 Stars
I bought the tub for two reasons:
1) My son was big enough to sit up in a tub, and the reclining tub we owned was increasingly uncomfortable for him, with very little water for toys. I needed a tub that was still smaller than the "big people" tub but large and flat enough for some toys and room to stretch.
2) I thought that a gentle spray would please my toddler more than dumping water on his head to wash off suds.
Alas, count me in the number of people for whom the shower stopped working almost immediately. After two or three uses, it stopped flowing, and no amount of trouble shooting could identify why. It did not matter very much, as my toddler hated the shower as much as he hated handfuls of water on his head, so we took the shower unit out and just use it as a plain tub.
In this capacity, it's great, and still a good size for a toddler who's big for his age, with room for floating toys. The no-slip pad keeps him from sliding about and the handle is GREAT for drying it when we're done. With baby #2, we'll try the mesh sling (since we skipped that age this time).
Customer Review: Really wanted to like this tub but finally returned it Summary: 2 Stars
I really wanted to like and keep this tub, and at first, I did! I wwasn't sure what all the bad reviews were for. I loved the fact (and still do) that it has a spray. That makes bath time so much easier. However, the spray button is the biggest PAIN!!! you have to use your index finger to press it and its actually hard to do so. Why don't they make it so your thumb presses the button like on a sink??? Dont know. ALso, it takes SO MANY batteries, it's ridiculous. You get scared to run the batteries down b/c there are so many to replace and hard to get in and out. PLus,I felt like it was a big production to set the bath up at night. My baby was only 2 months and I already had to move the water tub out of the bigger tub to make room for baby, and my baby's legs were still cramped. I changed the batteries for the second time and they ran out after ONE use! Now I know that is the batteries,b/c they were a lesser breand then I usually buy, but it just shows how much battery power that it takes. That is TOO expensive. I finally just gave up onit and purchased the aquarium bath which I really like. They need to improve this tub.
