Customer Review: Good Idea, Bad quality
Summary: 1 Stars

This is a complete waste of money.

I thought that the idea of having a sling in the tub AND having a shower unit was great, until I tried to use it. We bought it right after she was born and got it out when she was about 1 month old. First of all, it is very large and bulky. It takes up the entire counter top. None of the accessories snap or attach to the tub unit, so you have to lift it with 2 hand ot the shower unit & sling fall out! When you have the baby in it with the sling, in the infant position, you can only put a little water in it, so it gets cold fast & you cant get your hand betwen the sling & side of the tub to get your wash cloth wet!!

The shower has NO pressure, it just dribbles out. If you let the shower sprayer hang below the tub, the water just runs out. And when she is in the sling she slides down so that her legs are all crumpled up at the base of the shower! So, I just stopped using the sprayer.

She would still slide down the sling and then when she would kick, her heels were hitting the raised part of the tub where the shower base rests! Finally, I just started using the sling in our full size bath tub, which worked fine for a while. Although she still slides down the sling and durring a 5-10 minute bath I have to re-position her about 3-4 times! Now the sling covering is ripping at the top! OK, she just turned 5 mo old, so this is only 4 mo of use!

If you are going to get a sling, (which works nice) make sure it has a lip at the bottom that curves up so your baby cannot slide down.

Customer Review: Looks awesome but ISNT

This tub is horrible. I was so excited about getting it and then when I got it home the shower wouldnt work. So I took it back and got another one. The shower worked but in order to spray your child you have to hold the button in the hold time and the stream is really really light so it isnt very effective. Then when you let go of the button it proceeds to spray for a few more seconds. I got this shower to work twice. The first time it worked fine the second it took me twenty minutes to get the shower to spray you had to hit the button just right too hard and it wouldnt spray too light and it wouldnt spray and by the time I figured out the right amount of pressure to apply to the stupid button the water was cold. The other problem I found with the tub was that it squishes the baby's "bottom" against the shower and I have a boy so I can just imagine that it isnt that comfortable.
So once the shower quit working again I went and got the Euro Bath it is the best tub (and I have tried out a lot) it holds my son securely without squishing anything "important" and allows him to splash and play he LOVES the tub, and it is the same price as this one.
I feel bad for the people who have bought this tub and posted a postive review before using this tub more than one time. It is a great idea but needs some major work.
All in all I was totally disappointed. I had the summer tub infant sling tub that folds up and was very happy with it so I thought for sure that I would be happy with this one also... Think twice before buying this one.

Customer Review: bad bathing
Summary: 1 Stars

I purchased this tub thinking with all the bells & whistles It would be great. It turned out to be quite the opposite. I got the saftey 1st fold up tub at my shower and it turned out to be a great tub to fold up and store when not in use but after five months the non-skid pad starting coming up where the tub folds so I thought I would start looking to buy a different tub.

Well I spotted this tub and thought that it would be great since it had the mesh stand, the water temp indicator and the "gentle" shower nozzle.

Well when I got it home and set it up it turned out to be the worst tub for the money. The gentle shower hardly sprayed at all let alone enough to rinse off a baby. I got frustrated with it and yelled at my husband to bring me a cup. My daughter did not like sitting in the tub either. She never cried once when I bathed her and well when I put her in it she cried through the entire bath. She got cold becuase she wasn't getting rinsed off fast enough. The spray nozzle was also difficult to operate when your hands are wet.

The other problem I ran into was that my daughter is 24" long and she kept kicking the water resorvoir and it kept getting knocked out of place. So after the first bath which ended up being the last I immediately packed it back up and took it back to the store.

Do not waste your money on this tub. If I had read the reviews on it I wouldn't have had to waste my time with it. So far the reviews on these baby products have turned out to be really good to the consumer.

Customer Review: A great concept but not worth the money
Summary: 2 Stars

The main reason I purchased this product was because of its diversity. The idea that one tub could grow with my child certainly appealed to me economically. I could not have been more disappointed with this product and there is not one feature that I liked on this tub.
These are the flaws I encountered:

The shower component, which initially attracted me to this product, stopped functioning after only two uses. I attempted to utilize the "hints" included with the product manual to no avail. I contacted the manufacturer regarding my dissatisfaction and they did send me a replacement part several weeks later. Although I appreciated the effort on their part, they only sent the top battery component and not the basin that holds the water. I had already discarded both pieces so the replacement was equally useless.

The size of the tub is competely inadequate. At 3 months my son was bathing with his knees to his chest much to his dismay. Even if you remove the shower component and use it outside the infant tub, the space is still minimal.

The mesh sling that is included for use in the sink or to prop an infant up using the tub retains the worst odor after only a few uses. I washed it over and over and yet it still smelled stale and mildewy.

The sole reason I gave this product 2 stars instead of the 1 it deserves is because the manufacturer did attempt to resolve my problem by sending a replacement. But my advice is to purchase a different tub, don not waste your money on this!!

Customer Review: Just Buy a Regular Tub!
Summary: 2 Stars

I bought the tub because I thought the shower idea was great! I always rinse my baby with fresh water from a small plastic cup at the end of the bath anyway and thought that this would be a more efficient and easier way. But, it is not easier or efficient. First, the stream that comes out of the shower is very weak, therefore, it takes longer to rinse my baby. And it is not easier because the button to turn on the shower requires very firm, constant pressure with your finger, which after a few seconds, you'll feel your finger go numb and weak before the baby is even rinsed off! The button is also located in a bad position where your hand ends up covering some of the already weak stream of water from the shower. Then, when your finger gets wet from washing the baby, pushing the button is almost impossible because your finger keeps slipping off the button from being wet! I don't even use the shower anymore after two tries-what a waste. Other problems I encountered: During one of her baths, my baby screamed out very loudly! I then realized that my baby's tailbone had made its way down the sling and hit the plastic area where the shower container sits in the tub. I have to constantly lift my baby back up on the sling at least 5-6 times during one bath to prevent her tailbone from getting hurt again! It will be easier to wash my baby once she can sit up on her own and I can ditch the sling too!
Neat idea but a bad product.
