Customer Review: Not very safe
Summary: 2 Stars

Sure, this product is more attractive than the plain blue tub I had used for my son, but I'm about to go buy another blue baby tub tomorrow to replace this one. My daughter slips around A LOT on this, there needs to be a safety strap similar to the ones on the bouncy chairs for me to feel good about this product. The head support is fine, but honestly not that helpful since I always have both my hands on my baby anyways. On top of it all, this thing has a tendency to collapse while the baby is in it, so much so today that we just took her out of it and sat in the tub with her. She's only 12 pounds! I couldn't imagine using it in the upright position, since there is no safety harness to really keep the baby from tipping over and getting a serious bump on the head. We always have our hand on her while bathing, but this product turned bathtime into worry-time.
Not only that, but even after washing it and thoroughly drying it after each use, it is starting to smell like mildew.

Customer Review: My big baby needed this!
Summary: 4 Stars

My large 4 month old sort of outgrew his little infant tub, but was not ready to sit up yet. He also started lifting up his butt, sliding down and landing with his back on the little seat. I was putting him back in place over and over again and was worried he was going to hurt himself. This new seat works perfectly. He still slides down and I readjust him periodically, but he can't go too far now. The instructions say never to use more than an inch of water and I believe they just say that for liability reasons. I fill the bathtub so that he is covered as much as possible. His belly and arms are still exposed, but he would not enjoy a bath if he didn't get to be "in" the water. So far this has washed well. I throw it in the washer every time with his towels and it comes out fine. My only complaint is that the padding shifts around, but it has not caused a problem. I don't know how long he will be able to use this, but it has been a lifesaver at this stage.

Customer Review: Great Bather!!
Summary: 4 Stars

For my sons first 6 months, I used one of those plastic baby tubs. Well as he got bigger, that just wasn't working out, so I bought this. VERY good purchase. I sooo wish I'd have bought it earlier, it would have made life MUCH easier!

Hands down, my favorite thing about this bather (the reason I bought it really) is it sits high enough that I can rinse ALL the soap off his body, he's not just sitting in a tub of soapy water. Also, it's very sturdy (I have a big boy, very long), and because it's a chair, it's much easier to get to his whole body. Now...I'm not sure I would have used this on a brand-spanking new baby, it seems a little too 'open' for me (the tub with the sling was good for a newborn), but I definitely recommend it for 'older' babies...starting about 2 months or so. You won't need it long though...only till baby's sitting up on his own. But it's a great price, and much less hassle!

Customer Review: love it!
Summary: 5 Stars

Our 5 month old baby loves this sling, and so do we! The thing I love best about it is how stable it is and my not-so-little baby can kick and wiggle without me having to repeatedly slide her back up. She wasn't quite ready for a bath chair, and the other slings and baths were just too small. I can see this sling would've also been great when she was a newborn. I also like that there isn't anything blocking me from washing her bottom. This is my fourth child and by far the nicest bather we have had. I do agree that the bathwater needs to be higher, but you should always keep one hand on baby anyway so that wasn't a big deal to me. In fact, because it is a little elevated, it's a little easier on my back (not that bathing a baby in a large tub is ever easy on a back! :-). We just prop the bather in the tub to dry.

Customer Review: Much better than the tubs
Summary: 4 Stars

We started with the tub to seat bath complete universal bath system by first years, but it was way too small for our baby and he slid around in it so much that we switched to bathing him in the sink while we supported him. When he outgrew the sink, we needed an alternative, so we bought this bather. It's a lot like his bouncy seat, which he loves and is very comfortable in. This is much easier than supporting all of his weight with one arm and bathing him with the other while he squirms around. I didn't give it 5 stars because I think it's lacking 2 things that would make it perfect. One is a strap like in the bouncy to keep him from sliding down, though he doesn't slide too bad (not like in the tub), the other is that it needs suction cups on the bottom to hold it in place in the tub better.
