I purchased this monitor for my daughter. She was having a lot of problems with getting our grandson to nap. She had a audio monitor and when she heard him wake up she would go to him. With the video monitor she can now see if he is really awake or just fussing in his sleep. Naps now are a tremendous improvement!
Pros: Excellent video images even at night.
Cons: Position needs to be adjusted to eliminate interference.

The picture quality is not as good as on the advertisement, but I can see everything I need to, even at night. It is so nice to be able to watch when my baby is kicking and when he is still. I just wish there was a separate portable sound monitor and that the volume had a lower setting. I only use this in the daytime, but after I go to bed I use a different sound monitor. For the price, you shouldn't need another product.Customer Review: Good video, but did not last...

I thought the video was good... I got a lot of interference though and we had it for about 7 months and the thing died on me. The on/off button didn't work anymore. Also want to mention that the volume levels could've been better. For instance, the lowest level turned the volume off. The second to lowest level (of about 7 or eight levels) was REALLY loud. Every little sound that my son made would wake me up...Customer Review: I feel like I'm watching Cody TV.

I'm really pleased with this monitor. The 7" screen is great because I can see so much detail. We sometimes set the camera up in our car when our son falls asleep in his car seat and we don't want to wake him up. We do have to plug the camera into an outlet, but extension cords do the trick. The reception is great even from the garage, which is downstairs, with two doors in between...Customer Review: Buyer beware

My husband went to the store at 2am to buy a generic monitor to replace this one ... we couldn't take the crackling anymore. The reception is TERRIBLE on this, unless your bedroom is right next door to baby's room. Also, the picture on the monitor is pretty mediocre. I wouldn't pay $1 for this. I WISH I would have listened to the other reviewers who warned about the bad reception.
