We bought THREE video monitors before this one and all they did was make that lovely white noise fuzz sound because they clashed with our wireless music system. This one at 900mz is so quiet you don't know its on until the baby makes a sound. But the volume doesn't go down very quietly and then its just silent or off. So we did put a little tape over the speaker in the back just because we have it RIGHT on our bedside table in my ear. :)
the video is GREAT clarity in light (color) or dark (black and white) rooms! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! Also, there is a A and B channel so if you have two you want to keep track of you can switch to the other channel (after purchasing another camera of course).
Overall we love it and definitely say its a must have! I also like that the video can be turned off and just the sound left on if you keep it in your room at night.

I had the similar monitor to this from safety first and returned it because the picture wasn't clear and it constantly had a rolling picture. Once I got this monitor hooked up I was amazed at the picture and how great it worked, it looks like a real TV. Also I love that it has a great distance for the hand held monitor, I can go to the neighbors with no problem in the signal.
The bad side..... I think I may have just gotten a lemon, but yesterday my video began shutting off and now I only have sound on the monitor. I havn't moved it since we bought it so I don't know whats going on with it. I have only had the monitor for a little over a week, so this is very frustrating, I am going to bring it back and exchange it and hopefully its just a minor issue with this particular one. besides that ITS THE BEST ONE YET!!!

My best friend recommended this monitor, I was skeptical at first but I have had this monitor for about 6 months and have had no problems with it. I charge my cellphone right next to it on my bedside table and we have wireless phones and internet and don't have reception issues. Sometimes it gets static but you just move the monitor a little this way or that and it stops. I got it when my daughter was 1 because we were having some sleep issues and had to resort to letting her "cry it out." I wish I would have had it from the beginning. We are expecting baby # 2 now and we plan on purchasing another one. I also have the extra (sound only) hand held portable monitor that they sell in another package and it is crap so save your money and just get this set.Customer Review: So far so good!

Just received this camera and monitor today, hooked it up in a couple minutes and am very pleased so far. Picture quality and color are good, not like cable TV but very acceptable. I'm not monitoring a baby I have it setup on an inside window sill and am watching for butterfly's in my butterfly garden. With the large 7" screen it's like having a small window into my back yard. I have the monitor about 70 feet away here beside me at my computer desk. I have a 2.4 ghz wireless router and get no interference from it but when the 5.8 ghz cordless phone is in use it interferes badly. I get a better quality picture using the B channel not sure why. Hope this helps.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS! The best purchase we made for our daughter. Well worth every penny. Our bedroom is right next to the nursey so hearing our newborn's cries wasn't an issue, I loved being able to see her at all times once she was in her own room. Even now at 10 1/2 months, just being able to see her sleep, play or fuss makes all the difference. Just by looking at the monitor I know whether or not I have to go into the room or let her be. We've had no problems with reception or the screen! The best part is the night vision, even with a small night light you can see everything! Great Product!! I've told all my pregnant friends to buy this monitor!
