This monitor is perfect for seeing what your little one is up to. We have a camera in my 1 1/2 year old's room as well as in our playroom and it's like our own little surveilence system! We still use the regular audio baby monitor (this one is a bit loud and full of static) when we aren't closeby and our son is sleeping. As far as the picture quality, I would say it is pretty good for us, but don't expect to see everything. This is more of tool for getting an idea if the child is laying down, climbing out of bed, etc. The heat issue - the plug does get a bit warm, but we haven't noticed it being a hazard here. However, this isn't something I keep on all night, just when we need to see what's going on... All in all, I would recommend this and am thinking of getting a third camera for our new baby's room soon.Customer Review: Did not work but might work in other homes.

I read the reviews on this product before buying it. It seems it worked for some wonderfully and not so great for others or not at all. The sound worked great but I could never get a picture at all. I took it back to the store and they said certain brands dont work in certain homes. I thought about exchanging it for another just like it but figured it wouldnt work. I saw the safety first one and it was slightly higher in price but i knew my other regular monitor was safety first and it worked so I bought it and got it home and it worked fine. If you want this monitor I suggest trying it out for yourself in your home instead of just reading these reviews because it does depend on how your house is set up just dont get your hopes up and be prepared to run back to the store to exchange just in case.Customer Review: The Monitor(TV screen) is not good quality

I bought this monitor because I liked the fact it was a video. I loved it from the moment I brought it home and started using it.But suddenly the screen stopped working. I contacted the company and they said I could send it to them and they would try to fix it. And if it had been under 1 year since the date of purchase I would get a new one for free, if it could not be repaired, otherwise I'd have to pay for a new monitor(just the TV part). Unfortunatly, it had been just over a year, so I just opted to buy a whole new monitor set. Well, that was less than 2 months ago and my NEW monitor screen is just about DEAD!! I am furious!! My sister in law said she had the same problem with hers. So I am returning my monitor this weekend and getting a different brand....hopefully I won't have the same problem.Customer Review: GREAT MONITOR AND CHEAPER!

I can honestly say this is so far the best video monitor out there. I tried the safety 1st monitor which is more expensive and had no luck. I could not get a clear picture. I tried exchanging it for another one and still the had the same problem...to much static! Well I decided to try out this new product and absolutely love it. It has no interference I get a clear picture and best of it all is I don't hear any static. Its very quiet! Another great thing about it, is the the way you turn on and off the video screen while its still on...its like a snooze button. ITS JUST GREAT! I see my baby at all times and any little noise lets me hear and see it. Another good thing is the way the camera comes, you can place it anywhere! I am sure if you get this product you will love it and its so much cheaper.Customer Review: Peace of mind

I love being able to watch my son while he is sleeping. I'm a first time mom and I was worried that I would be going in and out of his room to make sure he was breathing all night. We haven't had any problems with the picture being fuzzy. We did on one of the channels, but on the other the sound and picture is very clear. When we're on the phone, sometimes the person on the other end is broadcast through the monitor. We even recently broke the top of the antenna off and it still works. My husband gets a little concerned about the plugs getting warm, so we make sure when were not using the monitor, it's not plugged in. The only complaint we have had is that there is some background noise (a low static hum) all the time. It doesn't' bother me as much as my husband, so oh well.
