I purchased this item because its organizes the clean items from the dirty ones in the diaper bag. It fits the diaper bag perfectly without stuff in it and is very cute but I would assume that if someone wanted a bag to put dirty things in, since most dirty things from babies contain wet or smelly things, that you would want a bag that contained that, was waterproof and could be cleaned well. This product on the other hand is material that looks as though it wont make it through a washer load, and most of all upsetting has a mesh backing.... A MESH BACKING, so all my soiled clothes or cloth diapers will be leaking out everywhere and smelling a bunch. So far it fits a couple onies, but I have a newborn.... it wont fit the cloth diapers I purchased it for and I dont think it will fit anything for a 6 month old.
