I've been debating on getting a new rocking chair/glider for my youngest son who is now 19 months old. I wasn't sure if I wanted to spend the money to get a new chair or just deal with the old hand-me-down one that I used for my older son, afterall the baby is almost 2. I went ahead and ordered this one (in the lighter wood with a green cushion) because it had good reviews and the price was great. I LOVE IT!!! I don't know why I waited to so long! It's soft, comfortable, and glides very nicely.
I was a bit worried about the color, but it's much more muted than the picture looked, and it looks great in my son's room. I read some other reviews about it breaking right away and about the cushion being thin, but I can't imagine what they are talking about. My husband is around 170 lbs and he has sat in it several times with no problems. Each evening I look forward to storytime and rocking my baby for a few minutes before bed. It really is a great chair. I even got FREE shipping all the way to Alaska with Free Super Saver Shipping; that in it self is pretty amazing. I just wish I would have ordered it years ago!
