Baby Products Reviews of Spasilk 100% Pure Silk Facial Beauty Pillowcase, WhiteCustomer Review: Just OK Summary: 3 Stars
I have very fine hair and wake up every morning to hair going every which way. I had hoped that my hair would not stick to this material and and I would look OK until I had completely wetted my hair and blown it dry, but that didn't happen. I washed the pillow cse in my washer with towels and dried it in the dryer for about a minute and hung it over my shower curtain to finish drying and it only took bout an hour to dry completely.
Customer Review: Silk pillowcase for reduced wrinkles/acne Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this pillowcase after attending an organic skincare products class. It was suggested, at the class, to purchase a 100%silk pillowcase for people who wanted to reduce wrinkles, acne, and allergies (from laundry detergents). I bought two so that I could have a clean one on hand at all times. I had searched around for a high quality silk at a decent price and this one was by far the most affordable and serves the purpose.
Customer Review: Smooth Summary: 5 Stars
The pillowcase is as pictured with a flap tuck on the underside - which is my preferred finishing style of pillowcases. I ordered the standard size which is true to size. The fabric has a light thread count, is silk smooth ie, not satin smooth. It is lovely to rest my head on. I purchased it to prevent my hair frizzing and it's helping in that regard. Lovely pillowcase for the price.
Customer Review: Horrible quality, please do not waste your money Summary: 1 Stars
I read all of the 5 star reviews and I was impressed with all of the superlatives... needless to say I was shocked by the shoddy quality and harsh chemical odor of this pillowcase. I have bought satin pillowcases for half the price at a beauty supply store that were 10 times better quality. I am surprised Amazon.com even carries this item. Made in China, horrible waste of money.
Customer Review: Expected better Summary: 2 Stars
This pillow case is very thin so I don't expect it to last long with weekly washings. It is too thin to replace a typical pillowcase so i need to use a cotton one underneath it. I still wake up with messy hair too. It may have lessened my bed head about 25% is all. My biggest complaint is that I wish it had a zipper enclosure. It folds instead with a flap that doesn't stay put.
