I never write reviews, this is my first one- but this helped us so much on the plane, I couldn't let it go.
My son is 13 month old, and this was our first plane ride together (about 2 hours). We flew on Southwest, and no one bothered us. Plus if you fear someone might, just buy the dark blue one, put blue pants on your kid, and a jacket or long sleeve shirt, and no one will notice your kids is harnessed-in. I would never just hold my kid on a plane, that's crazy! Would you just hold your kid in a car? You would't even use this in a car... but I guess it's better than nothing.
In any case, thanks to this harness, our kids stayed strapped in the whole flight, he fell asleep for about an hour. If we didn't have him harnessed, he would have NEVER stayed on my lap, he would have wanted to get up, walk around, etc... This way, he didn't even think about moving around, and it brought me peace of mind. The only thing I wish it had is a horizontal strap on the chest, keeping the shoulder straps close together, just to be a bit safer. And voila!
