I just got my Sleepy Wrap yesterday. So far, I love it. My baby is 6 weeks old, and he likes to be held a lot, especially in the daytime when I am by myself. I wasn't able to get anything done and it was getting very frustrating. Not to mention that I do want to hold him as much as possible, but he is a heavy boy! I had an Infantino comfort rider carrier, but it killed my back and was really uncomfortable. I saw the Moby wrap first and thought about getting it, but then decided on the Sleepy Wrap because of the added stretch. I am so happy about my decision. I love this thing! I find it pretty easy to tie, and it is comfortable. I have a lot of upper back problems, and it doesn't hurt my back at all, which is saying a lot! I didn't have any trouble getting it tied correctly, but I did find it somewhat difficult to get my baby positioned in it correctly at first, but it didn't take long to get the hang of it. He also screamed at first, but now he loves it!
My husband and I are both out of the norm in size. I am 5'3" and a plus size (size 22), and my husband is 6'10" and, not just tall, but a big, solid (not fat), guy. We were both worried it might not fit, but it fits us both great! My husband has to tie it in the back, but I can still bring it around to the front even at my size. I was also worried with my short waist that it would be uncomfortable, but it isn't.
So far I have only worn it around the house, but it sure has made life easier. I love having my hands free to do my chores and take care of my two dogs, also.
It seems to hold it's elasticity well. I put it on this morning and have taken baby in and out several times and have not had to retie it at all. I am so happy I made this purchase!!I will be getting these for all the new moms I know! It is a product that actually does what it says!

My baby and I love our Sleepy Wrap!
We first used it at about 6 weeks and now at 4 months we're still loving it! At first, when I put him in it he would zonk right out and I could run errands while he napped. As he's gotten older, he actually tends to stay awake more while in it, but is not at all squirmy or fussy while in it. I think it's the swaddling/close to Mommy effect, but once I put him in it he just looks around and enjoys the ride. It's a godsend to me in that I can even do things like go to the library and he stays calm and quiet. Unlike some of the other carriers I've tried, when worn right, my back doesn't hurt at all.
If first used with a newborn or small baby, he/she will be fully enclosed within the wrap. As he/she gets bigger (my 4 mo old is a big boy) it seems more comfortable to allow his legs to extend out.
You will want to make sure that it is tight enough. If too loose it will not be comfortable for the baby or you. I haven't really ever gotten it TOO tight as you can loosen it up some once on.
The only catch I found- which was no big deal once I learned to put it on- was WHEN to put it on. Now that I use it a lot, if I need to drive somewhere I put it on before leaving the house so I am not standing in some parking lot trying to out in on without it hitting the ground. Now that I am familiar with it though, I can get it on very quickly and at the right tension.

I have never felt compelled to write a review. This product however got me so excited that I had to share. During pregnancy (my first) I had decided against this wrap, worried about the wrapping process and living in a warm, no HOT, climate. I registered for the Bjorn instead. I like the Bjorn for an older baby to face outward, still do, in spite of the pressure points on my shoulders.
When my son was born, we ran out to get the Infantino, since the Bjorn would not work with such a little guy. The Infantino just was not for us. The material did not feel good and the sling did not feel natural against my body. (and my son grew out of it within a month)
My son is a large baby (20 lbs at 5 months), so I am now shopping for items that can grow with him for a while. This wrap seems to meet that expectation.
I wish I had gotten the Sleepy Wrap right away. I had to find a solution for moving around the airport with my son, now 5 months old. So I got it. The Sleepy Wrap gives me the flexibility to do little things around the house while he naps. I can hug him at all times and he seems perfectly content. (for those of us in a warm climate,....it does get a little warm and sweaty inside the wrap, next time I will dress him with fewer layers).
The instructions are simple, I was able to wrap myself right away.
I am so glad I did get it eventually. I will use this as shower gift of choice!!!

Love, love, LOVE the Sleepy Wrap! By about 3 months of age, the front carrier I had received as a gift for my son started to cause his chunky little legs to turn red and purple even on short grocery trips! I was desperate! After some research, I came across the Sleepy Wrap and ordered it immediately! I could hardly wait to receive it! I have used it every single day since I got it! It doesn't cause any pressure points for baby and baby is in a naturally comfortable position. Whether it's a trip to the store, or the playground with my daughter, camping, going to a restaurant, and most recently, the pumpkin patch, it has been a lifesaver! My son is 5 months old now and a very healthy 17 pounds! This wrap distributes the weight and makes it effortless to carry your baby! Not to mention, he absolutely LOVES it! When he is not asleep in it, he is perfectly content, happy, and looking around. When baby is happy, Mommy is happy! Would recommend this to EVERY Mommy-to-be! The wrapping might seem intimidating at first, but the instructions are clear and there are some great videos online that show step by step how to wrap it! Wrap it up so it is snug on you and your baby will fit perfectly. You don't have to worry about how much room to leave for baby like other wraps. Don't make my mistake! Get this wrap to start with and don't waste our money on any other carrier! Your baby and your back will thank you!Customer Review: love it!!

I rarely write a review on a product but this is one that I cannot keep to myself. I discovered the sleepy wrap with our second child and wish I would have for our first! I tried so many various slings & carriers that it isn't even funny. I never found the level of comfort for me or the baby that I was searching. With the Sleepy Wrap I was comfortable, the baby was comfortable and everyone was content. For the first year of his life I used the Sleepy Wrap instead of a stroller almost 100% of the time. It only took me one or two tries to get used to the tying method and before long it was only involved seconds to wrap, tie & scoot the little fella in. I have a repetitive use shoulder injury that the other slings and carriers would aggravate in a short period of time carrying the baby. I never had a problem with the Sleepy Wrap. It was easy to adjust and wear for hours. I wore the little guy to the County Fair, Kennywood (a local amusement park), shopping, at the beach, and around the house. In warm weather I had no problems with being overly warm, I dressed to acount for the extra layer of fabric (which is quite breathable).
Altogether I couldn't be happier with the Sleepy Wrap and look forward to using it with our on the way third child. Two thumbs up all around!!
