Customer Review: Everything I expected...mostly.

I really can't express how much I do appreciate this bag for those longer outings. It's very roomy and holds plenty, especially for me being the first-time (uber "Girl Scout" prepared) mommy! I use a portable diaper change pad case thingy that holds the wipes & diapers which can get bulky with diapers in it and when I need to, I can comfortably fit in my insulated pouch to carry the icepack & BM. Of course it holds the extra bibs, burp clothes, an extra outfit, a binkie case, maybe some more diapers and wipes too. (Told you I was a first time mommy!) LOL! It even has enough space for my usual purse knick-knacks and my huge clutch wallet. I adore the insulated pockets and for extra warmth I added a coozie to water thermos and the large pockets totally accommodate it - it holds two 4-6oz (playtex drop-ins & ventaire) bottles in one and the other for my thermos. My chapstick, cellphone and hair ties are all in easy reach with the front pocket so no digging around like I've had to do with my PPB. The antibacterial pocket is good idea, but it's kind of a waste for me since I carry individual throw-away diaper bags. Though it would be great for cloth diaper users or if there's soiled clothes. I also love, which I have yet to see on any other bag is that snap-flap "pocket" in the front where I hide a receiving blanket which is great since it just gives me more space inside the bag. :) There's just so many pockets!! ;D Oh and of course, it's stylish dots & color which totally deviates from the cliche floral/damask motifs I've cringed at.
Now the just OK's of the bag are few and definitely tolerable and likely more user error than the bag... So, the bottom zipper pocket sure is roomy but can be hard to reach once the bag is filled up so I mainly use it to hold stuff I don't need quick access to. I do love the length/look of the two straps, but it is more convenient for me to add on my own PBB shoulder strap for quick pick up. I also attached my own strap to the bag's stroller clip rings in lieu of using the bag's stroller clips because I found it easier to just slip the strap over my stroller handle than fumble with the two little straps each time that just barely wrapped around my handles and again, it may because the bag was pretty full. Also, this may not be an issue of you have two sep. handles on your stroller unlike mine which is the single straight handle across.
I use this bag pretty frequently except when I'm babywearing and have not yet seen a loose seam or tear in the fabric as some previous reviews mentioned. If it does happen, I personally would contact Skip Hop or even Amazon to see about an exchange cuz I must say, this bag is very well made especially for the price range and the ones I've checked out in chain stores for about the same price. So as much as I stuff my bag, it never feels too heavy and with metal hardware, I don't feel any sort of give. The style is larger than most, but I'm a gal who loves her minimalistic, yet functional hobo/satchel purses, so this one was just right, especially for the $60 price tag! Hope this helped.... ;)
