This machine-washable bra is made of 83-percent soft cotton and 17-percent spandex for lasting comfort. Additionally, the seams have been designed specifically so that they do not irritate sensitive skin areas.

Customer Review: A needed item if you pump a lot

I cannot imagine pumping without a hands-free bra (I'm pumping now as I write this review). I cannot say enough about having a hands free bra for pumping. I'm a 100% exclusive pumper and rely on this every time I pump.
I've been using this bra for about 5 weeks now. This is my second hands-free bra and I have to say I like this one a lot better than the other one (Easy Expressions) and here's why:
-The ability to adjust as you change sizes. The other bra got stretched with time and lost its ability to keep the flanges taut (which I thinks aids expression). I like that I can change the size of this and make it fit my body.
-It has straps which also help keep the flanges in the air (which cuts down on leakage if the bottles start to lean forward too much). This also gives more support than the other bra (which I ended up putting on upside down just to get more support than its intended design).
-Some people disliked how difficult it was to get the flanges inside the hole but I like it because, again, it helps keep the flanges taut and tight. The other bra, which just had a circle and no fabric, tended to get stretched after a while and no longer keep much of a hold on the flanges.
-It supports two 4 oz bottles full of milk - no question. If my production is more than that, I just stop the machine, dump, and continue.

-I have no problem with the fact that it zips from the top down. It might take some used to getting it all figured out: I put on the bra down below my breasts, place the flanges in the holes, and then place them on each breast. I currently am a D/E and have no problems with this bra from this perspective.
- I have had no problems with chaffing. I have no issues with support because I use the straps and I also am not wearing it all day long.
-I have no problems with it stopping suction or having milk leak when trying to remove. I just take one strap off at a time and remove the flange from the hole on one breast and then the other.
-I have never pumped without this bra so I cannot comment on whether it is as comfortable, but it works for me.
-It leaves my hands free to help massage and try to prevent clogged ducts as well. The fabric is malleable enough, I can get my hands under the bra to help massage. It is true that it is more difficult to massage through the fabric, but not impossible and certainly only certain areas of the breast.
I have had no problems or real complaints with this bra. In the 15 minutes it took me to write this, I pumped nearly 7 oz (3-1/2 each) and didn't even really realize it. I think having the ability to be distracted by doing other things (watching tv, checking internet, doing hair and makeup) while pumping helps with production since you are not fixated on "how much have I pumped."
