Customer Review: Wonderful sharing and book-time experience

What a wonderful little book! My children and I love to sit and look through this "family album" made just for them. They can cary it wherever we go, unlike the grownup albums, and can rehearse who is who in the family all the time. Since their grandparents live out of town, this is a wonderful way of seeing people who love them, but can't always be with them, and it helps anchor these people in the child's mind. The book is so durable, I never worry about pages ripping or drinks spilling. And I can easily wipe it off so we can look at it once more before bed-time. We can change some of the pictures, too. We love this book so much that we have bought it for our friends as new baby gifts - and they love it, too! With the typical Sassy bright, happy colors and patterns, it is a big winner in our household!Customer Review: Fabulous book for learning, fun and comfort

This photo album is a wonderful toy for babies and toddlers. I found it when my son was 14 months old and he absolutley loves to look at the family photos. He reads the book with me or my husband and often says all the words he knows in the pictures: baby, mama, daddy, bath, etc. As an early childhood educator and former kindergarten teacher, I see this book as a great learning toy as well as a great toy to provide comfort to children in day care or struggling with separation anxiety when with a babysitter or in an unfamiliar situation. I think this inexpensive toy should be on every parent's gift list. My son spends more time with this than he does with many of the more expensive toys we have purchased for him.Customer Review: A MUST have for every baby.

Kids forget very easily what someone they may not see often looks like. By putting pictures in their own 'chewable' book, the faces of family and friends stay familiar.
This book becomes a cherished part of their childhood as they open the pages time and again to find the photos of 'who loves baby.'
This is compact and inexpensive so your child can have multiple booklets. Your child may develop into a photographer (no pun intended), scrapbooker, historian, geneologist, whatever -- but family and friends will remain important--in my opinion.
It made a great difference to each of the little children in my extended family.
Customer Review: Long Distance Grandparents Alert

I gave this photo book to my grandaughter when she was 5 months old filled with photos of her parents, both sets of grandparents and her uncle. She loves it! We live 2000 miles away and her other grandparents live in England. This photo book has enabled her to "see" us every day so that when she sees us in person, she recognizes us. My daughter "reads" her stories about each picture and identifies us so that our grandaughter will learn who we are. She is now 10 months old and each time we see her she seems to recognize us. This is a great gift for babies and another way to help them enjoy books at an early age. My 3 year old began to enjoy photographs when he was a little more than one year old. We do not live close to our family and this book is great to put in photos of the grandparents, their cars, their houses, the horse we saw when we visited etc. You and your child can look at the book and your child will learn the names of relatives and other objects. Since we live in the Virgin Islands, photos of snow serve as an excellent reminder of what life is like elsewhere. Young children love repetition and familiarty and seeing photographs of loved ones and familiar places and themes in a book in which they can turn the pages and drool over, is great fun for a toddler. Highly recommended.
