Customer Review: Great item, just tricky to open

This is a fantastic way to give your baby chunks of solid food (frozen banana chunks our the favorite in our household) and this model is wonderfully easy to clean. The chilled base seems like a good idea, but nothing lasts long enough to really need it (with my son at least). My only complaint is that it's so child-proof it's almost parent-proof - I have a very hard time pressing in the latches and unscrewing the collar at the same time, especially once it's all full of banana goo. That aside, this is a wonderful product.Customer Review: My son loves this!

We just got our Sassy feeding teether and it's an instant hit with our 8 month old son. He's cutting 4 teeth on the top right now and the chilled apple slices he's currently enjoying are really helping him today. It's easy to use, the perfect size for his little hands and is also keeping him happily occupied while mommy gets some work done. Great product!
Do be prepared for your baby to make a mess though, the sticky apple juice is all over him, as any food would be!

I was very excited to get this product but then was thoroughly disappointed. I thought maybe i was using it wrong, but any fruit i put in it barely made it out of the little teeny holes...it just mashed up and stayed inside mostly. I think my son got some food...but i did not like it. Plus it did not clean that easily. After a couple tries i never used it again. don't bother with it. Just give your kid a piece of banana and watch how much fun they have :)Customer Review: poorly designed, pain to clean

Awful product. I would not recommend it to anyone. It's not only poorly designed (too many parts, too many little crevices that food can get trapped in that make it a pain in the you know what to clean) but it's also poorly constructed -- the mesh bag is not completely finished on the inside. It has a raw edge which helps the fabric unravel fast, posing a danger to your baby if you are not careful with it as another reviewer wrote earlier.Customer Review: it's ok

I bought this because my 2 sister-in-laws swore by it...but my son never really took to it & by the time he did, he was eating fruit in pieces anyway. I wouldn't really recommend this to anyone, unless a hot summer would make this a good product...I put ice cubes in this while my son was teething, but he was more fascinated with an ice cube sitting in front of him then with chewing on this. good idea but just was very useful for my son
