I absolutely loved this for both of my kids. I used it for frozen fruits, biter biscuits, anything that they could possibly choke on. I have tried other brands as well and as someone else said it is bigger than some others which is nice. The mesh bags are also removable and extras are available which comes in handy while you are out and need a clean bag but have no way of cleaning the dirty one. I also agree that it is a little difficult to open, I found a method. If you put your middle finger through the handle (like holding the handle with your middle finger) and put your thumb on one button and your forefinger on the other, and twist and it should come open easily. I got this feeder for my son when he was 6 months old. Over several weeks since then, he had tried watermelons, nectarine, cantaloupes, pears and apples. As a feeder, not-to-hard-and-juicier food has had better result since baby can chew with his gum and get some taste out of mesh bag. As a teether, cold and hard food are preferred by my baby. The reason I gave 4 stars instead 5 is finishing work in mesh. The stitching should be more careful so the end part of mesh bag stays better. The other brands has more of this problem according to reviews, but this one is not completely free from it. Keep your eyes on the mesh bag, so your baby doesn't eat any of the nylon particles. Besides that issue, it is really smart and well designed product.Customer Review: Baby loves it!

Just got my Sassy Teething Feeder today and tried it out. Aesthetically it's so colorful and pretty. My 7 month old took to it immediately. The netting is all natural and is not dyed in any color so I don't have to worry about her ingesting anything harmful. It was very easy to put the fruit in and screw on the net on to the ring. Also, there is a push lock on the ring so the baby can't accidentally unscrew it and get the food out. I left my baby with the feeder and a piece of banana and she was happily gnawing for 20 minutes! It is a little hard to clean the net because of the mashed up banana residue but it's better when I soak it in water first.
I highly recommend this product for the 6-8 month old babies!

We used this extensively when our daughter first started solids but didn't have the ability to grasp small pieces to feed herself. It was nice to allow her to feed herself and try new things without constantly picking up little pieces of food from the floor or worrying about her choking. We used a tether to clip it to her bib, so it couldn't fall on the floor. Only downsides- we didn't use it for very long- probably only 2 months, so the extra mesh bags I purchased were never used. Also, I don't think the little water reservoir they claim can be refrigerated to keep items cold actually does anything.
Bottom line- very useful for that brief period after starting solids and before a pincer grip.

I went hunting for these on Amazon when I saw replacement bags at Toys R Us but no feeders. My daughter loved her Munchkin feeder, but it was sooo hard for me to clean since the bag was attached. These feeders come apart for easy cleaning. I love that I don't have to worry about her choking, and she loves feeding herself. We mainly use it for bananas. Some other reviewers have noted it is hard to clean the residual banana out, and I agree. But by placing the mesh bags in water as soon as she is done with them and using a bottle brush to scrub them, they come clean without too much trouble. Soaking the mesh bags in a mild bleach solution every now and again also helps keep them looking good.
