We have never used this toy in the crib. It has always been sitting around so my little one can play with it whenever she wants. She constantly rolls the ball and plays with the curly q's on the side. Now, at 4 months, she is chewing on the purple ring. She doesn't look in the mirror much because she is too busy with the toys. The colors attracted her attention when she was a couple weeks old and she still likes the toy. You can un-velcro it so it opens up and sits on the floor for tummy time. And we take it in the vehicle with us to keep her entertained. It is not educational, but it's definately fun and keeps her interest!Customer Review: Happy at first...but then disappointed...

My 5 week old daughter really likes to look at herself and I got this mirror and she seemed to be enjoying it. I had it in the pack-n-play, on the couch and finally I put it in the crib with her - I figured it's tied on, what could happen...The ties on it place the purple ring toy on the bottom of the mirror. My daughter was taking a nap and all of a sudden I heard this scream...she's not even a crier so I was very alarmed. There is a loop of ribbon on the purple ring toy and she got her finger caught in the loop and was pulling frantically to get it off. She wasn't injured, but I am not keeping the mirror in the crib anymore.Customer Review: My daughter loves this mirror

We bought this for our daughter when she was around 3-4 weeks. She would just stare at this mirror forever. The colors really keep her attention, and she loves to see a pretty baby looking back at her. There was fingerprints on the mirror within a couple of weeks already. She started "talking" to herself a lot more when we got this mirror. The first time she laughed was at the ladybug, when we spun it. She's just over 4 months now, and still loves to look at it. She rolls over just to get to it. The only bad thing (which isn't really all that bad) is that it tips so easily. It's a good toy, and a good price.Customer Review: The most favorite toy of all!

We bought this for our two month old son (who is now three months old) to encourage tummytime. He was immediately fascinated with himself in the mirror. The older he gets the more interested he becomes in all the colors and fun extras attached to the mirror itself...he is currently engrossed with the purple bird! Like others, I agree the mirror tips very easily when opened to stand on the floor. I put my husbands shoe on the base to anchor it! By far this is the favorite toy in our household...why buy a regular mirror when you get so much more in this one. We love it! This was absolutely the best toy we've bought so far.Customer Review: Well worth the money

For an inexpensive crib toy this mirror can't be beat. My daughter has been paying attention to it ever since she started sleeping in her crib at about 2 months old. We regularly go into her room to get her in the morning and she is quietly entertaining herself with the toys attached to the mirror, but they are quiet enough to not disturb us. I love how the mirror is light and soft so I know it wouldn't hurt her if she bopped her head against it. And it tilts downward so even little babies lying down can look at themselves, and then can also be placed upright for older babies. This is a definate must-have.
