Baby Products Reviews of Sassy Me In The MirrorCustomer Review: Best baby mirror out there! Summary: 5 Stars
I kept wanting to buy a mirror for the baby's crib for a couple of months but every one I found seemed to give you a very warped reflection. But then I found this one made by Sassy. With it's bright colors and many textures, I knew it would be perfect for my curious daughter. And I was right!! She loved it as soon as I showed it to her. It stays on one end of her crib and I even take it out and stand it in the ground when she's lying on her stomach. It doesn't have to be attached to anything to stand up.I love walking in the room and finding her smiling at herself in the mirror! She just loves the little ring and the squiggly pieces of material on the side. I now buy this mirror for every baby shower I go to.I give it 5 stars!
Customer Review: Awesome and enjoyed from 2-10 mos (and more) Summary: 4 Stars
To me, trick w/baby toys is to get things that last more than a quick passing month or two. This mirror absolutely passes our longevity test with a big gold star. Our 10 mo. old loved it the minute she saw it, still loves it, and I expect she'll still love it a few months from now. We hung it on the inside of her crib. At first she just liked looking at herself in the mirror. Then she liked turning the turtle's back/ball and trying to grab the bird. For a brief period she chewed on the purple teething ring. Although, once she could sit up I thought the hanging tether was a strangulation hazard and cut it off (she teeths/plays w/it stand alone). She still does all those things. May be best $12.99 we ever spent.
Customer Review: Colorful but nothing special Summary: 3 Stars
This Sassy product caught my eye because of its colors when I was searching for something for my baby's crib during playtime. Me in the Mirror provides the reflective mirror and some cute and colorful attached toys around the border which spring off with velcro for easy play, but I found the toy did not stand or prop up in the crib, and if we tied it to the side my daughter could not really get to it. It's cute if you just want something inexpensive and bright for brief amusement, but it could really use a better anchor system so it stays put at baby's distance. The side opposite the mirror has a slot for you to insert a picture of family or of baby so they begin to recognize photos and this is a nice extra.
Customer Review: Great for in the car too! Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this versatile (and fairly inexpensive) little mirror, not for in the crib, but for in the car and it works great! I was facing a 500 mile drive, alone with a 4 year old and a 2.5 month old who hated the car. Literally screamed every time (for the whole time) we were in it. I was desparately browsing through the toy store and came across this. I attached it to the head rest posts with the crib ties and it sits at just the right angle for my little one to see. I'm not sure whether she likes the patterns or seeing herself but she clearly loves the mirror. We made the trip (both wasy) with a bare minimum of crying. Love it, love it, love it. Did I mention that I love it?!
Customer Review: Great until Baby can reach and pull! Summary: 3 Stars
This mirror was great for the first few months of my daughter's life, but now that she can reach and grab things, she has pulled it down on herself or scooted it away so she can't see the mirror anymore. It doesn't stand on its own very well; like I mentioned, it is easily pulled down and that orange rattle can hurt when it hits a tiny face! The sunshine that squeaks is useless-- it is even hard for me to push and squeak! I haven't tried tying it to the crib yet, but the ties seem awfully short. I'd say this is a fine mirror to start with but as your baby really wants to engage and touch things, this mirror is too easily pulled down and moved, especially when it's on the floor.
