Customer Review: Henry's Favorite
Summary: 5 Stars

I got this mirror for my baby days before he was born. He has used it almost everyday since he decided to open his eyes and look around. I love it because it is light weight. I tied it to the side of the cradle (it has nice short strings so no strangulation risk)when he was little. Now that he is a big boy (7 months) he uses it on the floor. It tents open so he can look at himself while he is on his tummy. He uses every toy on it. He loves to spin the ball and chew on the ring. And lets face it there are not enough toys out there with purple platapuses (?platapi) on them. Of course he loves the little green strings that were used to attach it to the cradle...babies love string and tags! I can't say enough. I recommend it to all my friends..and take it out of the crib moms. Henry feels very strong when he picks it up and sees that very handsome baby smiling back.

Customer Review: Tummy Time Superstar!
Summary: 5 Stars

My son (5 months old) hated being on his belly. 2-3 minutes tops was it before the screaming and crying began. Even without tummy time he was still doing well lifting and supporting his head, but I knew how important being on his tummy would be for the all important learning how to crawl. I have several friends that have the "Me in the Mirror" for their children and finally thought to myself, why not...it's fairly inexpensive so if he doesn't like it even after that, it wouldn't be much of a loss. I am so glad I purchased it. Immediately after coming home from the store, I laid my son on his tummy (propped up by his boppy) and he stared at and played with the mirror for 20 straight minutes and has enjoyed tummy time every day since.

Great, inexpensive, portable product that I now consider a necessity for any parent of an infant or parent-to-be!

Customer Review: Great for the price
Summary: 5 Stars

After reading others reviews, I'm realizing that my 4 month old daughter isn't getting as much out of this mirror as she could be!! She isn't interested in the toys at all (maybe that will come later). She does like the mirror though, and it ties to her crib perfectly at just the right height (we have the mattress as high as it will go in the crib). I also like that I can pull it out of the crib super easy and stand it up like a teepee to use for tummytime. I'm sure that when she reaches for the toys, this will not work unless it is tied to the crib; otherwise it will just fall over as others have mentioned. But for the crib, I think this is perfect because it does not make noise to keep her up. It allows her to amuse herself in the mirror before falling asleep, or after just waking up. And it's small enough (and light enough), I can take it anywhere.

Customer Review: Great toy, but doesn't stand up on its own
Summary: 4 Stars

This mirror is probably one of the most used toys we have owned. Both our children clung to it for the first 12-18 months, and we have now passed it on to a cousin. It holds up wonderfully, wipes clean easily, and has lots to entertain kids. Our daughter loved to turn the yellow sun which clicks, and the little orange ball. The teething ring is mostly ornamental, as we have owned far more effective ones. Still, the combination of activities, minimal noises, and no batteries (for once!) made it a parental favorite for us. In this day and age of bells and whistles, it is refreshingly simple.

The only thing we don't like about it is that it falls down very easily. We wish that they would make it more robust for standing, as that is a great feature for kids learning to move around and sit. As it is, it only works well laying down.

Customer Review: My favorite gift for new moms
Summary: 5 Stars

I love this thing and recommend it for all new moms (I just bought another one for my newest niece). My neighter mentioned the Ocean Wonders aquarium that she knew some people loved since my daughter was having trouble sleeping through the night at 6 months. In my bleary-eyed stupor, I saw this at the same time and bought it on a whim. In short, my daughter hated the Ocean Wonders (it also makes a weird sound like it's broken and it's just another battery operated toy that isn't that easy for kids less than 9-10 months to actually operate) AND the mirror and toys on this less expensive toy has kept her occupied and comforted through many a nap and night. She's now close to a year, and enjoys talking to the baby and playing with the pull toys when she wakes up. I should have known - my neighbor returned the Ocean Wonders she received as a gift.
