Customer Review: Ball doesn't glow anymore

My daughter might have drooled into the activating slot of the ball. Now the light doesn't glow. Looks like it was battery operated. There is no option to change the battery. The light went dead in exactly 7 days. Now the toy doesn't serve it's purpose. I thought the green plastic ring will glow in the dark. It doesn't. Well, this is what i get for buying a toy online. I bought the toy after reading all positive reviews.
Update: The ball is finally glowing after 3 days. Whatever got in the ball must have dried up. Still I am giving only 2 stars. It can happen again anytime.
